Gamerturk would you suggest reading the chapter books or the comics?

@@michaelawatters8748 it's always going to be the novel , the novel provides much more detail as to what is currently happening. For eg: The novel mentions to as what is the character thinking about during the current events or there might be references to the past that you can't see in the manga. The manga doesn't seem to appeal to any reader of the LN as they prefer to look into details rather than just having to look at pictures and skimming through the picture quickly. You may choose to read the manga but he and us novel readers would highly recommend reading the Light novels over the manga.

To add to the Manga being an adaptation like the Anime, it's also sooo far behind than where the anime is, so reading the Manga literally has no benefit at the moment. You won't get the detail that exists in the Light Novels, nor will you get a head start in the story as Manga is currently adapting Part 1 Episode 10 contents.

Yup, that wasnt included in the video because I wasnt certain what to make of of that bit. It is real world buildings. The only likely interpretation is that it is a future tease, obviously hinting at the end of Alicization and considering we are in cour 3, that is literally too far away for me to just simply spoil the entire ending.

Well, all the other stories after Aincrad put the actual focus on non-Kirito characters, but the Anime didn't want you to know that and took away scenes from other characters to give it to Kirito. Human Realm Arc was the final straw, where Eugeo's story became Kirito's story completely. Now, the Anime does not have an excuse for not focusing on Kirito, as he is going to do a whole lot of nothing this time around.

@@Gamerturk yeah, I have actually read up all novels and side stories (The day after and sugary days was personally my favorite ones for obvious reasons being Asuna and Kirito but other than that... more attention to other skills like wood craft for sugary days. As well as post FD events like the sense of separation in Asuna by cardinal for The Day After) Loved the POV from other characters instead in Phantom bullet LN 5 and 6 . I also felt like the recap episode ending before the title card of Alicization Invading/War of the underworld better than what I saw of ep 24 as it's almost sticking to the LN 14 as he shouldn't be able to recognize Asuna calling him. It's almost like they are giving a good amount of deban to the other MC after Kirito received his amounts. Think that's what I like as it is balancing out between him and others. (Currently reading the LN 1-14 again along with progressive, side stories other than 16.5 till the next episode releases. I'm actually curious to see in the future of progressive 'What made Asuna disband the party with Kirito in 2023?')

Great video! I like your take on this intro even if I might not agree with all of it. Personally, I think Eugeo is still around watching over Kirito, Alice, and everyone he loved like a guardian angel. That is, if the official art of him ghost-hugging Kirito that came out a few weeks ago is any indication. I actually hoped that there would be a scene of Eugeo's ghost hugging Kirito in the new opening but seeing an official art depicting it was just as good lol.

Seeing Asuna appearing as goddess Stacia was very appealing to me as I was waiting for her to be goddess Stacia and seeing her made me satisfied waiting for so long. Hey Gamerturk is it true that War of Underworld would be split into 2 parts with each part being about 11 for the first part and 12 for the second and the second part being released in April next year?

The split is correct, however I have no clue where the 11-12 split came from. We had multiple people asking about it on the Wikia server as well, despite we specifically said 12-11. So yeah, aside from the split ratio, it's correct. 23 episodes, first part is 12, second part is 11 episodes.

She does have the Piety Module and thus is her own person in a majority of ways, aside from memories that Quinella could not clean completely due to memories being a complex topic. No, Alice's real memories were in the Memory Fragment and they were deleted with Alice and Eugeo's departure from the world.

I always felt like the Alice who went with Eugeo was the embodiment of her memories given form, not Alice herself. It was like her memory fragment became sentient and developed a consciousness of its own.

Quinella carves out as much of their memories, pretty much the characters entirely and the Piety Module and the Knight is effectively a new person. They have access to what has not been managed to carve out, but they are not that person. That's why Alice considers herself to not be Selka's real sister and blames herself for the loss of the real Alice.

@@Elly3981 Check out my Episode 19 Explained. Eugeo never had his memories removed. Quinella found a hole in his memories and stuck the Piety Module there because she was in a hurry to get him ready for fight.

time for Alicization invading I didnt think the animaters would show the result of a one night stand who knows maybe fanatio will fight with her kid all jokes aside I due have to mention that the sight of Alice on top of dead bodies reminds of a visual of king Artoria Pendragon from the fate series after she lost the war and questioned her kingship ive heard people say that Artoria and Alice are similar in a way ive also heard that ppl consider alice and i quote one of the first saber knock offs

The guy who designed Alice admitted that her look was inspired by Saber of FSN. Even aspects of her personality is very similar to Saber's; she's tough as nails but also has a very cute side too. Interestingly enough, Eugeo the Integrity Knight also resembles Arthur Pendragon, the saber servant from Fate/Prototype.
