Quite a lot of info here but I just want to correct some inaccurate/false/incomplete info. 1. You can't change the passives/actives that are attached to weapons or armor, they are tied to the weapon. The open slot on an armor is a slot for Incarnation which are items found from beating reborn clamp clusters or from grey chests that have enemies linked to them. 2. Skill connect was never executed in his video, when a skill connect is executed your character will flash yellow(Similar sprite to the blue flash at the end of sword skills, the blue flash is your window to execute another skill to connect them) and a counter(Once enough progression has been made) will appear in the center that indicates how far you are from Skill connect EX(A mechanic that works with Secret Skills). 3. Guard break was never successfully executed in the video. Guard Break can be done whenever an enemy glows blue and has a shield like object appearing on them. In many cases except a specific few exceptions guard breaking is beneficial as it interrupts the enemy if an attack is tied to the guard stance, even if not it raises enemy hazard gauge significantly.

Thanks for the pro tips! When talking to allies to raise affinity, you can move closer for different dialogue options. You can get 30 affinity points for 1 dialogue option. It's faster than grinding finishers imo. I did this quick to customize tactics and I'm still in chapter 2.

Number 14 Character bonds: Those talk to your partner conversations actual increase affinity super fast and can get you the bedroom scenes super quickly. when choosing options the bottom right and left of the screen get filled in by a pink hue with hearts (left) and a yellowish hue with musical notes (right) when both these sides are maxed in increases their mood which gains you more affinity. the max i have had is 31 Affinity points from each conversation option when you get in close. NOTE: forgot to mention that the conversation is a rhythm game and the heart beat at the top left will reward more affinity points when you pick an option while its at the biggest point

This was very helpful, thank you! I recently started playing and was soon to discover that there are a lot of things they don't fully explain, as well as a slew of odd design choices. Some things, like no map locations for side-quests (where the monster is, or items you need to fetch) and missing icons for shops I can only guess are intentionally that way to make people explore the world. In any case, I'm enjoying the game so far and can't wait to dig in deeper.

About 14 - bond affinity: move L Stick UP (Choose Approach) and your character will be near and new and better options to upgrade your affinity will appear. Sometimes +20, +27 or even +30 will pops up. You can bond your waifus very fast this way.

I know this is super late but I discovered that when you're in combat mode (aka blades drawn) if you just sprint directly while not in combat the game will automatically put you in passive mode (blades not drawn, obv) without playing the sheathing animation, saves a bit of time when you're trying to get stuff done quickly, like Raid Dungeons for example.

For 14, try using the inputs when the heart in the top left is biggest, you'll get more affinity, and depending om what level his/her mood is (top right, increased with affinity), the better your options will be, just lean in closer with the right analog stick, once you get good at timing the 3rd level actions with the max heart size you can increase their affinity in no time.

An issue with number 9 - Unstoppable (Chests): Whenever a mob aggro'd me, I was unable to interact with the chest as I was being targeted by an enemy. Even a prompt appears in the middle of the screen notifying me so.

you probably figured it out by now but going into those conversations at point 14 is the way to do it. its very boring but there are 5 bedrooms scenes per character to keep you occupied while you do it. the quickest way to do it is don't go close and continually pick the first three options. affinity points don't matter so you can just pick the same option when the heart is at its biggest.

For skill connect, I am sure you can connect skills that are not in the order of lv1->2->3. I am just not sure whether you would lose some bonus if you don't connect skills in order.

Lretty sure certain skills are labled connect skills and finisher skills and as long as u don't use a finisher skill u can infinitely chain skills

I see your frames dipping quite a few times. Anti cheat is causing alot of issues so if you can live without it disable it. If you select your option in the affinity gauge during heart to hear, do it while the beating heart is the largest. It gives you slightly more points.

Hey brother not being negative or anything but u have to have weapon proficiency at 500 to unlock some abilities and lvls of certain abilities IV been farming these lvl 45 salamanders in the desert really weak against Pierce best way to farm proficiency IV found.

After delving into the questing system for online. Found that ALL missions give both players experience; not just your own. But if your friend does not have the quest you're currently working on accepted or has already completed, then they cannot help you kill or see the monsters you're fighting for said quest. My friend was smart though, and uses Silica a lot so he would just have her healing me or do it himself.

they said something about that in the patch notes. and noted that people either shouldn't let the game auto-save you there. or if it does start from the chapter select save which is honestly bull. means you probably lost alot of progress EDIT: Heres the direct quote from the notes. ③ Choosing online multiplayer will change the progress of the main quest. - When the host of the party is further into the main quest than other party members, the party member(s) has a chance for the progress of their main quest to change. If the progress of the main quest shown in your game is further than it was previously, please do not save the game and restart your application. *Moving to another area will save the game, thus we do not recommend doing this if the progress of your main quest has changed after playing online multiplayer. *Please note that if you happen to save the game, you will have to load from the chapter save data. *Temporary solution: Please only play the online multiplayer mode after completing the main game or please wait for the release of the patch planned for late July.
