It's actually the most frustrating boss encounter Ive ever faced, not because it's hard, but because if you die you have to go thru EIGHT cutscenes, EIGHT DUCKING CUTSCENES! and even if you skip them, the loading screens take so freaking long!!

Thanks for the guide. I know this is old, but another good thing to note: the bullet reflect skill only works if you're facing towards him, and your sword attack abilities tend to fling you all over the place. Easy to end up with your back turned to him. Might just be safer to mash your regular attack.

Oh my gosh, right? Kirito being the guy who brings a sword to a gun fight looks cool in the anime, but in the actual game, it’s more of a nuisance than anything! Especially because his pistol is pathetic! He might as well not even carry one!

Two things I fucking HATE about this stupid fight: *•When you die in the boss fight you HAVE TO WATCH THE ENTIRE FUCKING CUTSCENES ALL OVER AGAIN•* *•This fight is nearly fucking impossible, if I had my guns then I'd be able to fight him in one or two takes and beat him easily but no we have to use a stupid sword and a pistol while the others get to use an AR or shotgun. It's so fucking stupid.•*

My problem is that I can’t keep track of Death Gun! He’s constantly slipping just out of reach and I can’t maneuver the camera well enough to see him while still swinging the sword. I managed to do it before on my Xbox, but I can’t do it on my Switch at all!!

The key is just dash to him and maintain close combat , don’t let him gain some distance cause you will got hit by his sniper and youre done basically 😅

I got closer to killing him using just my gun than i ever have using sword, everytime i use sword i hit him like 1/10 times cuz this game sucks when it comes to the camera and tracking, it just doesnt work
