Origins is such an old game. I'm glad people still are playing it! Im surprised this damage came out of a sword n board if I'm being honest, I've never seen one do this much damage. You might just have found the strongest warrior build

@@fraisertinko dude, the game is 11 years old, it’s pretty old for a game. Just because it wasn’t made in 1980s, doesn’t mean it isn’t old. That’s the same as saying the wheel wasn’t invented that long ago, since dinosaurs existed millions of years before.

I was just going to play the trilogy again and it’s great to see people still making videos on origins so long after. I’m definitely going to try this build.

Great! Made a similar build with a human noble. I wore the Warden Commander set and I had Duncan's sword and shield. Sword and shield damager can be super fun! You should consider switching the chestpiece of Wade's Superior Armor to Evon the Great's mail, since that gives you more dodge(and with Spellward that is 1 out of 5 hit that will always gonna miss you on top of your defense), more armor and health regen AND you still have the set bonus with the rest of Wade's equipment. So it's really the best heavy armor in the game, especially with the set.

@@ChoppedCelery Yeah, well, it is pretty costly, but towards the end(it's available after the three main quest I think) I would say it's pretty affordable. Or just complete the Harvester on Hard or Nightmare and sell the Reaper's Cudgel. With your dwarf noble that would have given you almost 700 gold if you sell it to Gorim. More than enough to get the armor, and more! :)

Hey Chopped, I just want to say that I am proud that you are making content on DA:O. I've looked everywhere for content on this game when I was new (less than a year ago) and I found your channel about a week to 2 weeks ago. I just find it great that it hasn't really died out and is still getting content. (Most videos I found were 5+ years old)

I think evon the greet's mail would be better in place of wade's chestpiece it counts as a set with the rest of Wade's superior dragon scale gear.

Nice build pretty well done! actually if you have golems of amgarrak you´ll get the House Dace regard and actually adds to your dps, +1 armor penetration (6cunning), +7 crit damage +50 stamina plus stamina regen, you´ll loose 10 chance of evasion but in terms of dps its actually way better than spellward

You can use Wade's Superior Heavy Dragon Scale Armor, replacing the chest piece with Evon the Great's Mail and still get the Dragon Scale Armor bonus.

If you ever get the chance, you’ve got to play this game on pc. I played on console when it came out and fell in love with it, and then played on pc this last year and it’s a whole new game to me. So much more tactical I really think everything out and it gave me drive to do my first nightmare run which I’m absolutely stomping.

What would you recommend for a two warrior set up? I want to have a archer rouge and a healing mage with that. I do want to have Alister and my main character both be sword and shield. But I kinda need help deciding what special skill trees to spec into on my character. Could you help a player in need ? Thanks.

Once, my friend said "Hey, remember that one build you made in Skyrim? Imagine if you actually got bored and nerfed yourself to the ground for fun and a challenge" And I replied: "tHaT's eXacTly whaT hapPeNeD" Basically what I'm trying to say is that I actually nerfed myself when I tried out CC's build, I ended up removing Star Fang and Fade Wall from my loadout and I also removed Berserk so yeah pain but fun

Chopped Celery well, that’s fine. You gave me plenty of ideas. So far, Stone fist, crushing prison, mana clash and force field all in one setup locks up or kills most nuisances quickly.

And if I’m going with Alistair... which specialization would you trade for Templar on that build? I guess Champion, since my AW is tanking 🤷🏻‍♂️ might work better this way. It’ll help him resist my ridiculous AoE’s.

Why not Cailan's weapon from Ostagar? Sword+shield have a really nice bonus - increased damage and stamina regen. Also, maybe medium armor for dps will be better

@@ChoppedCelery 1) starfang is nice, but cailan's weapon set gave more benefits) Plus starfang cannot be imported to the Awakening... 2) well, with lifegiver, marik's sword, high defence, healing and big DPS - i think it's possible to survive) and its only 6 points in armor difference if i am not mistaken

Ummm locked up no problem go back to gaming and found my old game yeah you gave me a pick up thanks man you're doing really good as a help from me i hate to say it cuz i really don't like these new games that are coming out or companies that are for some reason screwing them self (bathesda) but you should cover some of them if you plan to grow your chanel again thanks 🙂

I always struggle with the section at 0:08 outside Fort Drakon. It is one of the hardest parts of the game for me on 'Nightmare'. I tend to give my SnS warrior 'Blightblood' until I grab the 'Keening Blade' from Gaxkang (near end of game). As I'm sure you've noticed, the DLC weapons and armour are amongst the best in the game.

I beat the archdemon on casual and normal easy enough. Nightmare is a very different scenario though.

I played this game (and all its dlc) through 5 complete times on 360, nightmare difficulty. My last playthrough was 6 years ago, picked up the ultimate edition on PC and I gotta say, the game feels way more difficult than on 360, or maybe I just suck now?.... idk
