Ulfhednir is a viking reenactment group with a main focus on fighting with replicas of viking weapons.
We attend both private and public events throughout the year in Denmark and abroad. Our way of fighting is, apart from the historical perspective, a sport for which we train weekly. There are many different rules of fighting within the viking community, and our way corresponds mostly to what is used in Europe and Scandinavia.
The videos we post here are targeted the fighters who attend our weekly trainings, and should be considered as a reminder of the techniques we teach. Thus the detail level of these techniques will be much greater in our training hall than on this channel.

Hey man, I been watching you videos, working in putting together a Viking group in Montana, USA. Thanks for taking the time to explain and do a walk through! Great job. It would be awsome if you could group videos together into a Playlist so folks could hit play and run a string of the training videos together instead of 1 video and then You Tube runs something random next. Keep up the videos, I'll keep watching

Hello friend, I have learned a lot by watching your videos and I would like to ask you a question. What kind of weapons could I use to practice if I am 165 cm? I would like to know what would be better for me if shield and sword or dane ax or axe, etc. It's a question I've always had.
