Sword RF-80A over Korea 1/72 inbox review

Sword released the Lockheed RF-80A as a short-run kit in 1/72 scale. With no less than 6 decoration options offered, this kit may not be suitable for the beginning modeler, but might be very interesting for the more advanced modeler who wishes to venture into building the usually more challenging short-run kits.

Thanks, and you're welcome! I saw that single 'camo' version in Korea of the RF-80 in a book years ago, so that's the one I built in the end. Reveal video coming up next!

Nice review! I wouldn't mind having this one. Had a chance to buy a regular one some years ago at a model show for $12 used but I passed figuring nice details but short run type of kit=potential fit issues etc. Would n't be afraid to try one now now that I have some shot run kits under my belt. Wish I would've bought it!

Thanks, you're welcome! Since Sword makes short run kits they usually don't have the same degree of availability as kits from mainstream companies; especially their older kits are tricky to get hold of. Occasionally however you may find some last stocks or reissues directly from their site: swordmodel.cz In fact, they just may have it available there at this moment..
