I would love a underappreciated historic weapons episode on the sling. It was used pretty prominently in both Europe and South America as a weapon in addition to being a truly old hunting implement. Actually to go a step further do the History of Rock video Shad. It was used as a material or ammunition in weaponry much much longer than you think

Thanks for the laughs on these tests. It reminds me, many years ago I did a photo-shot for a company making LARP gear, and we had a medieval show-fighting group to provide the testers. They brought their own metal armor, and at first were quite dismissive about the LARP weapons being only foam and looking fake compared to their stuff. But when they found out they could whack each other with them without fear on damage and injury all hell broke loose. :) We all had a lot of fun that day, and the company got some nice promotional shots out of it.

It's worth remembering that plastic armour is frequently used in various forms by motorcyclists - even large plates in some cases. That stuff can be subjected to some pretty extreme trauma, and it does its job.

I got to respect the evalution of the channel, a lot of other historical channels on here do the sit and talk method. Which is fine it gets the job done, but its nice to see shad try to differentiate himself from the rest, but still keeps up the quality of the information but also the video. Even if his titles have become slightly more click bait. Love to see someone still maintain passion in what they do.
