So I went back to the game after last year and honestly I really like the new hud fro the character sheet and the new whole menu to create a new character! I'm hoping a graphic overhaul eventually. They should NOT let this game die. I love it!

As of 7.1.1, Energized Blade will no longer give you an instant reset on Vaulting Slash (same for Imperial reskin of the same class). Instead, it only reduces the cooldown by 6 seconds.

Man, I find you to be sooo right! I didn't realize it, but at 60 the whole thing just changes. A lot of the stupid questions I had were due to it being a completely different class than you knew. I mean I am stupid but at least I don't want to sound stupid. lol. I can really feel that difference if I don't have the 2 stacks of CS at all times! As I am getting toward 70 and a higher GS it isn't that noticible as it once was, but I understand it now. The killick heroics and other heroics really give be a chance to use all of my kit because if i don't I will die. I just hit 68 and am at 219 GS and about half done with Alderann. This class I am glad I picked first, I just can't handle that consular sentinel Concentration/watchman/or combat. I guess I will get it eventually but 4 sets of rotations and trying to keep up zen and those 30 stacks I just am too new or potato to grasp atm. Plus where it started at 70 everything is a spoiler and I am so lost on all of that. I need to push through the story and grow into later game. Thanks man!

In playing around with this a little more, if you deal a Whirling Blow, it immediately sets your Critical Chance back 20%. If, however, you throw another Clairvoyant Strike, the 20% comes back immediately. Thanks for this guide! I've got my toon set up pretty much the same. I use Stalker's Swiftness with Shadow Stride because I can knock most tangos out within 10 sec. (and the game seems to give a grace period of about a second) and, honestly, the visual of the toon instantly whooshing off to the next target after an instant cooldown hits those reward centers in my brain. :) THANKS AGAIN!!!

Thanks dude! I loled so hard at getting benched and going back to serenity. Almost at 60 and finally stepping out of serenity to try the others and this is a really cool spec with cool animations. Looks like once I hit 60 more of your rotation will make sense, but for now, plenty fine!

My first toon was an infil shadow, I have somewhat neglected to learn a lot of the mechanics and tertiary stats for it since max leveling and it was because I didnt really understand it much (newbie lol) but I will definitely be referring back to your guide and apply your recommendations when i play :D thanks man

Some burst fights infliltration for sure, but i have been playing with Biggs serenity guide and i must say it feels better overall even single target let alone in aoe fights. Long fights serenity is great if there are some down times not able to hit boss the dots still tick

I will say this about Spinning Strike: it has a fairly quick cooldown itself (5 sec) and when it's available against a boss, it's an EXCELLENT filler if everything else you have is on cooldown (like when your luck runs out).

for levelling I picket force magnetism instead of force wave because your always on the move and rarely in a fight where that much CC is necessary so the extra movement is better

Great guide! I had a UI question if you could answer, how did you get those 5 verticle icons to show up, at first i thought it ws the buff tray but it doesn't seem like it. I normally play wow and have Weakauras set up similar to those but haven't figured out how to get them to show up in Swotr. I appreciate the help!

I actually like them more than knights because (for pve) invisibility + u are able to use the force unlike the knight who only has his sword

It is recommended to start from stealth for more burst since you have the Shadow's Respite passive.

@@Linkforlife199 And you also get to use Vaulting Slash as an opener. If it's a weak mob, it's pretty likely to be an insta-kill, which, with the right utility, immediately resets the cooldown and grants 40% increased crit chance for the next 6 seconds. That's a pretty nice buff to have right at the start of combat.

while the idea of dual wielding lightsabers or double lightsabers sounds rad. Pretty much every Jedi and/or Sith that has used them in lore had gotten themselves wrecked some way or another when fighting single saber users... so yeah, cool concept, but not good justice done for them :/

The one that looks the coolest to you. Straight up. If you want to be a flavor of the month nerd, hatred assassin (serenity shadow) is doing very well, any of the powertech/vanguard specs are doing very well and both of the sorcerer/sage specs are doing very well. However, if you see a spec that looks cool that has a class fantasy that appeals to you, that is always what I recommend. For example, marksmanship sniper is dogwater right now, and it's still my favorite spec. Has been since 1.0.

half the time his talk sounds like gibberish. Im fine with hearing the explainations of how and why things work, but hes all over the place. GIVE ME the actual rotation in order, including activating buffs or shit in between any where. In order. He does it in other video's. (4 tellekinetic throws in a row for dps sage, dont fall asleep!) But not really Here. it gets very confusing and it should be kept simple.

Some discipline just plain don't support a fixed rotation like concentration sharpshooter, or assault spec. The cooldowns and procs just don't line up to make that possible in a high dps pattern. For specs like this, a priority system is superior. If thats not your style and you're not willing to try it out, this may not be the spec for you
