This movie, and the acting, the cinematic perfection + colar and light shots, the sun on their skin, the off center underwater camera catching her falling in, all was so correct and perfect. A masterwork.

I'm surprised by how awesome conversationally that Peter is. Wow. I will pay attention to him just because he seems (a) so versatile and (b) he's super clear and lucid and honest in conversation :)

I don't know if they're in relationships or married and I'm not tryna make something into nothing like I'm really tryna see this in an unbiased way but idk the way he was looking at her and couldn't look away caught my attention. I don't know if he was looking at the wall or if he was looking at her but idk man it seemed nice and beautiful

I find it interesting how in the beginning Natalia doesn’t mention Sterling’s abuse, but about how it was young love. I wonder why.

The fact that this is a movie about male narcissistic abuse and its impact on young women and that this flew over the head of the actors is madness. The literal rape scene is not mentioned. The entirety of the movie is washed out as a regular coming of age female adolescence piece. This goes to show how a director's vision transcends the actors' core understanding of the human issues at stake, and how actors' biased perceptions of a story can be corrected through generic naturalistic acting.
