Horrible car man I’m this close to returning it, damn car chooses timing on its own, gives you boost when it wants too I’m absolutely done with it, giving it one last shot and that’s tuning it and if that doesn’t work I’m trading it for something better, any who today I got absolutely obliterated by a 2009 Acura TL, on some real bullshit, guy turn on his emergency light after he beat me, you don’t the feel I felt after loosing man I spent 54k and this piece of shit car and that guy happy with his cheap Acura TL.

@ here is what I will say… you need to get your car sorted, if what you are experience is in fact true. ECU aside it sounds like you have a problem. And you don’t need to take my word on that, look at the many other accounts from Australia to the UK running the exact same engine, look at the development they’ve done. Do more research. Check for boost leaks. The ECU has its ability to make adjustments but most cases it’s making those in benefit of things like more airflow, more fuel. What you are describing sounds like a car having issues.

Yeah, we ran into that clamp issue back when we installed their FMIC. We purchased industrial grade clamps from a local company in Houston.

Did this a few weeks ago, clamps were good except had to use the stock one off the turbo x2 cause the ones sent didn't hold. Also did a old BMX trick and sprayed Hairspray on all the rubber to metal attachments then clamped em down. haven't had anything slide off yet.

I have the SXTH Intercooler and charge pipes. They are great however the clamps are trash. I repeat DON’T use the clamps that come with the kit they leak boost. Use constant tension clamps. Charles from SXTH overnighted me clamps from McMaster Carr that are industrial strength with nylon bolts and are constant tension (WORKS GREAT).My Corolla GR make 303whp and 310wtp on a mustang dyno. (Only mods are intercooler and charge pipes) The charge pipes with the intercooler makes a good power gain. If you tune it you will gain more power and torque earlier.

Look into all the heavy duty clamps, we used a few Constant Tension clamps and the Ideal Tridon clamps. The Ideal Tridon clamp is specifically made for high vibration, off road equipment and heavy machinery. @@CarQuicks I called Charles at SXTH in July he overnighted me free of charge constant tension clamps made by McMaster Carr heavy duty like you said they have a spring and have nylon bolt. Apparently these clamps are 15.00 each. With 8 clamps I was happy SXTH stepped up and took care of me. I hope the new clamps they provide are these for customers going forward. These new clamps are awesome no issues whatsoever with new clamps.

Yes. The downpipe comes off the turbo. The charge pipes come off the intercooler.

Yes, the sound is more pronounced when boost comes on. And you can hear this difference over an MST V1 intake... I also run the V2 setup.

I don't know the number off hand, but have read through forums a few people running just this, with intakes and downpipes netting very good gains. To fully realize the benefit here, you will want to run the SXTH intercooler.

This is only compatible with the SXTH intercooler correct? I saw that mentioned on their site. Also what is the benefit of getting bigger pipes if the turbo inlet is still smaller than the pipes?

This is correct, most charge pipes retain the factory sizing, but benefit from less restrictive tubing and better airflow. The SXTH charge pipes are 2.25 inch in diameter, that matches the intercooler. As for the benefit, even though the turbo inlet is stock (which in our case we run the SXTH Turbo Inlet), you would still benefit greatly from the better airflow to the intake and turbo from the charge pipes not being so restrictive.
