Matthew RoosterDC its more the culture in Sweden. Sweden has become a lot more violent and dangerous since the migrant crisis but to say that has become politically incorrect. The situation isn’t as bad as a lot of people make it out to be but the refusal to acknowledge that migrants harm swedes and that mass immigration is a huge threat to stable western nations made Sweden a laughing stock in that regard.

Guys, Am I the only one who quit every campaign in every tw game after X turns because I feel like I already won? Sometimes it is 20 turns sometimes 50 but I never ever get the "You win" message or what ever it is because I never complete the win conditions but I always get the feeling that it is only matter of time. (Only once with Rome 1 on short camp.) @LegendofTotalWar help me what should I do to make my campaigns more enjoyable? (I always play VHard) I even had to switch to Mount and Blade to simulate some fun.

That's a big problem with these games, you're either being crushed or you're crushing the enemy. Hard to find a measured challenge. And once you get the train rolling you're pretty much unstoppable unless something goes massively, massively wrong, like playing a Muslim faction and all the Catholics declare a crusade on you at once or something. But at a certain point even that wouldn't be that big a deal, if you are rich enough to afford a full stack army in the crusade target settlement they will never take it. Basically you're either bored from winning or frustrated from getting your ass kicked, no middle ground.

@@OldTotalWarrior It is a CA problem, they never cared to fix the Diplomacy AI to pressure you when you are a problem for them and do better things when you are not. There is no sens of strategy with the AI and CA does not care to fix since ROME TW. The AI sees a settlement they can take without going against too much opposition, they will try to take it, without calculating how that will effect their financial/defensive/strategic/diplomatic position. When the player is involved, they will get some extra magical incentive forced by CA which breaks any resemblance of immersion. This in turn pushes the player into a spam grind and completely fucks role play lol

I need help. I used to play non-steam version, that I modded with Stainless Steel (not HIP). I wanted to mod it with HIP on old laptop, but I couldn't make it work for some uknown reason. I then got new laptop, I installed steam version of M2:TW and then I wanted to mod it at least with Stainless Steel and with HIP if possible (I really loved M2), but many links are dead and most forum threads I found just inform about new problems and contain more dead links. Can someone help me? I really want to play Stainless Steel, Atilla and later ones are not making me feel the same. I would be really grateful for any advice or forum with working links. Legend: I do not like Total war Attila. It is full of gliches. Yeah...medieval 2 is glich free... It is full of gliches, exploits and with the worst AI ever. Sure, it is a fun game to play, but thats all. You can conquer the whole map if you want with some general bodygards only... It is very good game for someone that starts total war games, but for the people that are 900+ hours on the total war games it is modarate.
