Just subbed! Amazing quality from a Gopro! Can you do a review on using the GoPro 9? So many reviewers claim it's too buggy to rely on as a vlogger camera for KZbin. Any glitches or crashes in your experience?

Cheers for the sub! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be making one on the GoPro; that device isn't really the direction I want to head in with this channel. Happy to answer any questions about it though! RE crashing and glitches: None yet actually; it's been flawless so far. That being said, I *did* upgrade the firmware as soon as I got it?

@patkay4 жыл бұрын
On a job I'd still use my A7RIV. But in a pinch the SIII is fantastic too. 12MP doesn't give a lot of wiggle room, so it really depends on your needs and shooting habits.
@alainbadan93453 жыл бұрын
I have the same approach, a fixed lens (at home the 135mm) and start, I've been doing it for a year and it's for me much better than with a zoom, you don't ask yourself questions about the focal length, you concentrate on the composition, the light, the aperture, the distance (it's already a lot) I've seen your settings, AF-C and spot flexible M, a good choice for me too. Was your day here a kind of training ?

great video! how long did it take for just not caring to shoot photos of people in front of them? xD I feel totally mortified if I try to do it... Also, do you have a patreon or have considered making one? I'd probably join it depending on the perks (maybe more in depth editing videos, idk).
@patkay4 жыл бұрын
Oh man, you should see some of the other styles of street photography I do where I'm up close and personal with a 24mm or less. Now *that's* confronting haha. I did previously have a Patreon! But I feel I went far too heavy with the value and it ended up taking too much of my time. Coincidentally, what kind of perks would entice you to join?
@andresm6454 жыл бұрын
@@patkay wow I don't know how you do it... as for Patreon, it's a shame I didn't catch those days then haha, let's see... I would really enjoy streaming of your editing sessions, I think we could learn a lot from that (although the time difference might make it hard). Also depending on the volume of patrons, something like a private chat where you participate in would be cool. Access to photos you don't end up posting on your main account, and hi res wallpapers would be very nice. Discount coupons for your books/presets. And for higher tiers I think something like submitting photos to you for you to critique would be great. Having a pro's eye on your work can help you improve really fast (not that I've ever had that, but I guess?). Also one of the things that I find really hard is finding "our own style", I don't know if there's anything you could tie to that, maybe the photo critique could help if we take editing into account too. Which perks did you have before?

Really, this isn’t street photography it’s more architectural photography containing the odd person. You need to get more involved. And you’d be better off using a camera with a tilt screen instead of the side hinged flip out screen, for documentary and street it’s so much quicker and stealthier.
@patkay4 жыл бұрын
Street photography is what you make it, so thank you for your opinion. However, please don't assume that this is the only style of street photography that I do, and/or that I don't also know that there's a tremendous amount of skill acquisition to be had when learning how to blend in to a crowd and document at point blank - those are my roots. Thanks for your opinion anyway, though.

looks like a street to me. looks like photography to me. street + photography = street photography 😂😂 I understand there are age-old "rules" to what street photography is.... such as I was told you can only use 35mm at or point. It's up to the creator to create how they feel fit imo.. an d rules are there to be broken!

@@albertcabbott Exactly some people like to be further away from their subjects and use a 90 mm or more.
