Generally I stick to 2.5 sizes.

Would a size three work or is it too big and sinks too quickly

@@vickykork7910 Yes, it will work. It will sink quickly but you can still make it work by controlling the sink rate a bit. Maybe try a slow roll of the jig back instead of letting it sink and whipping it like I do?

Heya mate, any of the rock ledges around Cronulla at the mouth of the Hacking hold Squid. Caught decent Squid all the way along them and even around the baths near the beaches at times. I just generally look for any areas that have good kelp beds and rocky shorelines.
