I said to myself that I was tired and was going to take it a bit easier…. As I started moving I got more motivated and actually pushed myself really hard! Just getting started gets me in the mindset to keep it going and challenge myself. I always say “it’s only 30 seconds you can do this” for every exercise and it’s true! I can! Woot GOOOOOO!!!! I feel so much better. Almost a month of being sick with respiratory flu. This is my 1st week back working out consistently for the week. I missed 1 day but I’ll make it up. Proud of all of you. Proud of myself too. I believe in me, so that I can believe in you even more! 😊

I'm so proud of myself! I woke up late and got started later than usual, and I thought I was going to rush and cut my workout in half. Instead, I finished my workout strong and pushed through my cardio. I've seen such a difference in my perspective and approach to my health! I'm getting stronger (mentally, physically, and spiritually) everyday! Way to go, fam!

Last night I don’t know what happened a felt a terribly pain on my Cuff left shoulder that I couldn’t move my arm, but after a couple hours I starting feeling better and thanks 🙏 Gosh I was able to Crushed my workout today! I have never seen my arms shake as much as I saw today. Stuck to my goal of heavy weights. Really felt it in the chest press and skull crushers but I talked myself out of dropping the weights. I've been fighting a head cold and kept telling myself I should just lay in bed and rest this morning but I know I always feel better after moving so I made myself roll out of bed and hit play. We had a 10 days prayer and fasting program at our church. Initially I thought I would have to take a break from the workouts but I tried it a couple of days and I still had energy so I continued and didn’t take a break and still felt great. Today is the last day of fasting and I still crushed this workout 🏋️♀️

I entered this work out feeling very heavy, as if I am carrying a lot of water weight. Leaving, I can say my focus has shifted to how far I’ve progressed in my shoulder strength. Some days our body will be taking care of us in ways that we may not feel comfortable in, but to know that it’s working with me and not against me is so reassuring.
