What I enjoy is that you told us what sets & makers you were using. I really dislike when YTers build with CC and then have no clue where it came from so if we want to use it, we can’t easily find it. I love all the different styles and the Maximalist vibes. I was thinking that if you want to build with more CC (it’s fun) you could do “designer showcases” where you use CC from only one maker, that way its really easy to download as well. Like, mixing CC in with Maxis items.

@@silvervixen007 it’s easy to sort into maker folders as you download & if you download makers that add their own maker’s mark it’s easy to know who the content is from. I’ve used my fair share of CC. I’m also insanely type A when it comes to only downloading from vetted makers. I will never again have a CC induced virus on my PC again.

Because the kids room has an alchemy table, (and that’s the only part of the house with witchy stuff) now I have in my head a story about two spellcaster/magical children who have to go stay with their non-magical aunt. The bit is that they’re magic and yet she is so much stranger than them lol 😂 love the build as always!!!

@@x.HoneyBea.x so, maximalism. Or, having a personal style. I really don’t understand this trend of dissecting every design choice into dozens of overlapping “cores” or “aesthetics”. I will say, I do appreciate that it skips the word “core” because it is so overused and played out. Now that I think even more about it, dopamine decor can’t be defined beyond “your personal style” because everyone’s dopamine chasing is different. Someone’s calm colors with tons of texture could be my ick & their dopamine decor whereas my Lisa Frank meets Dark Academia plus stuffed animal explosion and fairy tea garden infestation all accentuated by a slightly obsession with all things shiny might make others itchy & their brains hurt from overstimulation, it makes my brain feel bubbly and happy because mmmm dopamine.

@@sydmacit’s a game on Roblox where you dress up for certain themes! I think if you like making sims in CAS then you would like it! You do have not the best opinion of clothes items. There is VIP but I’m guessing you don’t have Roblox and VIP is robux. I have it and I like it but I can’t tell you or not tell you to get it lol! I do love dress to impress tho! Definitely one of my fav games on Roblox! (Sorry it’s so long lol)

​​@@sydmac It's a roblux game, like the other commenter said. Basically, you get a theme you have to dress up as in five minutes. There's also another mode where you can do any style with no time limit. Some items you have to pay to use, but the free options are enough to make cute outfits

Aunt Flo is totally a Content Creator that takes inspo from Architectural Digest home tours and online trends like Barbiecore. As an aunt, I am deeply tied to her lol I love the toddler/kids room. I love how CC creators give such fresh, inspired items but also make things that look like authentic vintage.

For Halloween season I'd love so see you do something with different goth styles. You always do such a good job of researching and explaining different aesthetics! I was originally thinking 'building a haunted house but every room is a different type of goth." You could also design a bunch of sims that fit romatic goth, coperate goth, trad goth, white goth, mall goth, etc and then build a house for them.

Story line - Great Aunt Florence’s house was inherited by her niece (Aunt Florence doesn’t have any kids).. now the niece, who is a single mother, lives in that house with her children. That would explain the only renovations for the bedrooms.. And the random heart shaped hot tub.. Also the niece loves the retro style of the kitchen and living room or maybe she wants to preserve few items in loving memory of her aunt ❤
