Getting rid of an annoying vibration or rattle is always satisfying. Another job well done!

Awesome video! I have a '01 TJ Sport. It has a 4" R.C. lift that includes a square tube type transfer case drop bars, sandwiched between frame and belly pan. Were you able to eliminate those or spacer pucks/or did you even have a drop set up on yours prior to the SYE install? If not, could that have possibly been the culprit to the vibration issue you were having? I'm considering a SYE install on mine. I'd like to remove the drop spacers to gain ground clearance and get things tucked back up where it belongs. I would appreciate some insight. You've just earned a new subscriber and I look forward to checking out future videos. Thanks!

@@jackpayne3996 Hey, thanks for joining my channel! Yes, we had and still have the drop bars between the skid plate and the frame. I removed them temporarily after I installed the slip yoke. Vibrations were terrible. I had to put them back to stop the vibs. Just so you know, I do not have any adjustable control arms on the rear. I am sure I can install upper adjustable control arms and remove the skid spacer. We just haven’t done that yet. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video, I have a YJ and have watched some other installs of the SYE and there is a need to cut the shaft for the drive shaft yoke. Is it different for a TJ?
@ForceBuilt4 ай бұрын
I think that is called a hack and tap. That is a cheaper way to do it. That is where they cut off part of the shaft and then tap threads into the end of the shaft for the yoke, correct? If you purchase a full blown Slip Yoke Eliminator you won't have to cut the shaft off. It will come with the correct length shaft for your YJ. Thanks for watching!

It looks like your jeep doesn't have a large dampener wheel on the rear drive shaft like mine does. I have no idea how to remove it

how long did you run it with the lift before this mod?
@ForceBuilt4 күн бұрын
Roughly 9 Months. I did a video on the lift in Nov. This video was done in August.
