I am getting peace in SanTan Dharma, but I really wanted to remain in Islam cuz deep in my heart of hearts I feel I still believe in Islam, still believe in Allah and Rasulallah*, and I am very much disturb about this cuz the muslim community does not understand the transgender experience. They think I am trying to change into something I am not. They don't understand that I am Naturally feminized. That I am born lime that... Marco Mac--- I dont fully agree with you actually. You might alter your practice of islam (you might be less of a fundamentalist say), but leaving it is not always a matter of critical thinking, curiosity or intelligence. Rather, I often see it as being against certain interpretations or lacking the need for a spiritual outlet.
@spera29196 жыл бұрын
@@joshboston2323 I altered my perception&practice of religion as I grew up + my mind developed + I kept learning more about the world. I had reached a pretty peaceful interpretation of Islam. But the cognitive dissonance from having to do so much mental gymnastics to make it make sense got me. I just couldn't keep forcing my brain into believing. Indeed there was also a lack of need for religion which allowed me to leave my faith, but the main reason I did was because it simply wasn't believable anymore, and I couldn't keep being dishonest with myself. It wasn't a choice.

If you can cause a rift between the Royals and the Wahabbis you might have a shot, but you won't see a resolution to that unless the Wahabbis get Mecca. And the Royals would lose control of the Peninsula because the Africans would fight their way past to get access to Mecca. The Royals would lose the Western and Northern sections and then they lose the Mediterranean, so the oil trade would be hit hard and it also would give the Wahabbis a geographical advantage in pushing the Saud towards the southern peninsula where the Yemenis are. Then you got the Saudis in a two-front civil war and the peninsula will go over to the Wahabbis, which is worse. The Chinese might get around to it if they expand southward into the Pacific Islands--Indonesia, Malaysia, etc., which are almost entirely subsidized by the Saudis--but they're too busy in Africa right now, and they consider Tibet and India bigger priorities. It'll be a few years to a few decades before they get to the North African territories and mix it up with the Muslims there, but none of them are really Saudi-associated. I think Iran will mix it up with SA before the Russians or even the Chinese get to them. But those are the only 2 nations that'll play hardball with the Saudis, but that conflict is easily 40-60 years away.
@Theomite4 жыл бұрын
@Arun Sar I don't see Oil Demand dropping anytime soon for the following reason: our clean energy tech still can't produce the power cycles of fossil fuels; you can't get the same voltage/second that internal combustion can. They also take too long to recharge. You also have to build the infrastructure to support that technology just like our fossil fuel system does now (gas stations, etc.) and they don't have ubiquity right now and the money to do so isn't there yet. If that weren't enough, none of the money to transition is going to come in until the Powers That Be can get in on the ground floor and secure the clean version of their old model for themselves. E.g.: Shell isn't going to go Green unless they can be the Shell equivalent of Green energy. Also, our relationship with the Saudis is literally our only link to the Middle East. Everybody else hates us and usually for good reason. We'd wanna keep Oil Demand going even artificially or else we lose the only foothold we have over there besides Israel. And your point about education is becoming moot because MBS has already started transitioning the culture somewhat away from the model you're describing. Sociopath or no, he sees the potential disaster of not preparing his people for a post-Oil future. Now, the pandemic might change his initial plans, but his trajectory is in that direction. This is going to drive a wedge between him and the Wahabbis because he needs them for internal security, but they won't like an educated population exposed to outside ideas. Muslims are likely to see the similarities between them and Christians and realize that their hegemony is equally unstable, thus leading to Cultural Reformations (again, using history as a guidebook) and the Wahabbis will not tolerate that. I think the way MBS will mitigate that is by focusing on the territory grabs in the Pacific Rim where they have sway, or Australia where they and UAE have financial control of the leaders. Focusing that violence outward on a mission statement might prevent them form focusing too much on the diluting Ummah emphasis back home. Also, Saudi Arabia might want to run interference on Muslim territory in North Africa in anticipation of China's expansion, which could short-circuit the Western front in the event of a Royal-Wahabbi split by giving the Wahabbis a series of sectarian conflicts to focus on getting under control. But this could drive losing factions under China's umbrella for support against the Saudis and either way, you still have the China-Saudi conflict in about 40-50 years. Since Saudi Arabia would want our help against China, and we'd want their territorial base to operate a proxy war from, we'd agree. So we'll buy their Oil still, and the Wahabbis will still have their war chest and agenda because they'll have external enemies to vent on while MBS changes things up at home. Now what happens after all this? Come 2080? I have no clue. But it could potentially be really bad unless China overextends itself and Saudi Arabia is able to finally break free of a weakened Wahabbi force. The Monarchy, however, would probably not want a representative government tapping into their coffers and weakening their power, so it might not come to that.

The funding of madrassas and fundamentalism by Saudi Arabia internationally is a big issue I have with the dependence of people on oil around the world. Everyday, when one fills his car, he’s also funding terrorism. We have to get rid of our dependence on oil as soon as possible.

We can't. We still don't have a viable replacement for fossil fuels. The potential energy in them is superior to any of the other energy capacitance technology that we have available except for nuclear power. You can leave gas in your car for weeks and it'll still start fine. You don't use your electric car for a few weeks and the battery loses charge. You can fill up a gas tank in 5 minutes and got for 260 miles, but an electric car takes hours to charge back up.

Kabba follows all customs and traditions of Hindu with a black stone inside in the form of Hindu God..... We muslims kiss it because our nabi has kissed it..... Not middle eastern style of Islam . Islam is Islam . Muslims become more zealous when Islam is all of a sudden in the news and being scrutinized. When Muslim population grows .... When their is an attack on Muslims like the Gujurat riots ....then they become more zealous as means from their superiority / inferiority complex and supremacist nature. Beleive me , Pakistani Islam & Indian Islam is more fanatical than anything else In Iran, the youth push against everything Islamic and still wear the fravahar Zoroastrian pendent necklace , tattoos etc etc . In the middle east - under the dictators , Islam & Islamists are weak because any extremism and Saddam, al-assads , king Hussein, ghadaafi etc etc etc will put Islamists in their place like no other. So no, middle east Islam is actually quite taint with the exception of Saudi Arabia and govt of Iran (not ppl) . Islam is strong where Islamists , fanaticism is tolerated ...... That's all. This is why it's imp that Muslims are kept in Muslim countries inside their own border to be ruled by their fellow Muslim ruler and legal system . Noone talks Abt black September, hama massacre, Iran/Iraq war, Yemen civil war, syria civil war, genocide of Kurds , Balochi oppression etc etc etc . Oh and sectarian violence amongst Muslims . It's the same in somalia. People build large mosques while some can not afford food. They believe is a charity that will live on for centuries thereby giving them compounding reward points for heaven.

I understand why people get religious but I really don't understand why they are running around in circles and so few of them find one of the many gaps. You don't even need logic, just think about trust. Would you trust a person saying "believe what I say or I will punish you"? Ah, no, I forgot, it's the almighty god and he/she/it has a plan you are too small to understand. If there was a being, so much greater than we are, all mighty, all knowing, all seeing and all merciful, would this powerful being behave like an adolescent, screaming, threatening and throwing a tantrum now and then? Keeping you in an endless fire for just not obeying? We are not alone. We have each other. We have our thoughts, our fantasy. You are too frightened of death and can't cope going where you came from? Okay, go ahead, believe in the afterlife but please leave the rest of us in peace and let the children decide for themselves what they believe or not. Why is it that every new human being has to be indoctrinated with these beliefs? Why does religion not grow by itself in a child? Why do children from different religions fight children of other religions? Because religion is bullshit. That's it. And I didn't even start talking about people who organize religions for their own good...

M I : Not at all; there's nothing wrong with those who just follow the Five Pillars of Islam. Most of my Muslim friends are oppressed by the cultural aspects; the endless wedding gift cash amounts & the social humiliation of having those sums publicly announced. How can families save up & get ahead in life?
@fermentedsourdough54626 жыл бұрын
Not to mention the psychological aspects. All men want to provide for their families & when they struggle to do so under the aforementioned conditions (& the overt c.f. covert corruption of Muslim majority countries) their frustration turns to anger that has no other outlet (sports?) than domestic.

My big question when I hear this man speaking, and this was my experience of Muslims in South Africa as well, is why it is that the United States government has continuously supported the rise of radical Islam. It supported Saudi Arabia, the Taliban at the time and so on, only to set up Islam as Public Enemey Number One during the 90's when the book, "The Clash of Civilizations" appeared, and then going completely overboard after 9/11. It is as if they needed some Evil to fight against after their imagined enemy, Communism, finally collapsed and that whole myth fell in upon itself.

How this is a reply to my question is a riddle to me?? What I'm saying is that before this kind of input flooded us all over he world, the bulk of South African Muslims were secular, wore no burqas or anything like that. There is no religious answer to that. Only a political one, in which people learn to leave others alone and take them as they are, with tolerance and sympathy. Religious people are, in my experience, not necessarily tolerant nor compassionate.

Eric Hurner I pretty much agree with you. the US needs a boogeyman to scare its middle and lower classes so they would be more willing to settle for less freedom for more 'security'
@JackHaveman527 жыл бұрын
Regardless of any motive the US might have, it is still the actions of a regressive Islamic movement from Saudi Arabia that is causing this wave of extremism. You've given no real proof, except your own speculations, that show the US has any real involvement with that movement. The real contradiction here is that the US is allowing a potential enemy, numbering well over a billion people to pose a threat to its own grasp on power. Add to that all those people, who aren't Muslims, and think the US government is responsible for all the world's ills and they've provided themselves with and over whelming enemy and a real threat to their position. In other words, they're digging their own graves. If they're that smart, why would they do that?

Very powerful. My heart lit up when he started talking about his passion for the cosmos, the truly whole, so much bigger world of which this one is only a tiny grain, and which waits to be explored. *That* is the message worth working for. Very important point he made, the religious leaders of one country investing in another's religious dogmatisation instead of providing the money for, say, true education.

How beautiful how strong you become to understand Cancer is a disease it's a health issue nothing to do with what you have done or Cancer doesn't mean you're a bad person, so God is punishing you. I have seen few cancer patients and they are all trusting upon God more when they should trust upon a good doctor.

It's fascinating how the Islamic world is undergoing its own counter-reformation in this day and age. The fact is that we should really deeply look into this counter-reformation and how it is driven by Saudi money. In our alliance with Saudi Arabia we are fueling the decline of secularism and moderation among Muslim communities.
@deckerdryges55264 жыл бұрын
Especially in the west, ex-muslims need to be protected and feel frèe from persecution or execution for apostasy. We nèed to stop this arabianisation of muslims globally. The saudis are paying for these activities to reap in terms of halal economics. 40yrs ago, there was no halal certification. This arabianisation will lead to a loss of centuries old cultures in many countries.

Freewill leads to actions and words, they in turn make one’s own karma. According to Karma siddhanta one has to reap what one sows. This accrued karma must be resolved in order to attain the goal of mukti or moksha. If karma is not resolved then one’s Atman takes up another body (janma) and starts the new life cycle all over. Thus birth -> death -> birth cycle continues until moksha is attained. There is no original sin or Satan or permanent hell. Almighty will not create something he can not control. Supreme being will not remain punitive with the eternal hell fire punishment. Because almighty is very compassionate and loving. God is Brahman (consciousness) and It has no form or gender. It is everywhere and everything is in It as per Advaita (non-dualism). On the other hand Dvaita (dualism ) school of philosophy says God is separate from the sristi ( creation or cosmos) . Hinduism applies its karma siddhanta to all sentient beings without any discrimination of people of other faiths. “Sarvejano Sukhinobhavantu” means may all live happily. “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” means The whole world is one family.
