In reality if you lived here its not alwasy like that, in this world there alwasy a bad and good people despite their religion. On bandung people actually can enjoyed their lived freely even if they wanna do something other religion say not to do, even if its a sin that christian say not to.. but make sure to keep it to yourself and dont bose about it on public... Its just the society gonna judge them, btw if you lived on medan close to aceh whic is at the same province sumatera there is many more cristen people actually and also there is the most balance place where christen and islam lived peacefully but yeah they still lived on specific area for most of the time where on one block there only Christian and other block is Islam but there also a mix block that have both.. And i feel the reason why there a bad thing happen to other religion believers area because of a bad practic and a close environment like what i say before... So imo we need to make both Christian and muslim lived closelty together so they can learn how to lived cofienciently.. Because a bad thing can happen to the both party Edit : btw i also have more theory about how they do what they do, so because most of them lived on specific block with only the same faith as them, for both party its can developt their thinking to being close with the one are familiar to their environment before... so its make more indiversity on many thing like friends group or even bussiness partner and that also can make them build up mindset of hating eachother or even disgusted by eachother.. And then both rty can become radical and racist to each other.. Just because they never be able to realy know each other as a human effected by their own living environment. So yeah i belive a introduction of mix residential block is a must..

This is a warning to all secular countries. If you allow them the freedom to practise their islamic faith, it will not be reciprocated when they have expanded and are in the majority. The same freedom that you extended to them you will not get back. Same with halal establishments. You give up your inclusive space to let them halal-lise the premise which then becomes exclusive. Think long and hard before extending freedom to them to practise their faith, it is tantamount to you giving up your inclusivity and freedom.

I’m from Indonesia and specifically from a province with tendencies to adopt sharia-inspired bylaws and I’m thankful for CNA for this report. Most Indonesians are quick to say that these things only happen in Aceh as the only sharia-ruled province out of the 38 provinces that we have, but we often overlook the fact that there are other provinces that are quietly creating local bylaws that are inspired by religious laws. The public schools that made wearing the hijab an obligation is located in the province of West Sumatra, not Aceh. Just because in your city/province you have a good relationship between religions, your children can choose to wear hijab or not at public schools, people who are not fasting can freely eat and drink during Ramadan, non-Muslims can build their places of worship etc it doesn’t meant the same things can also happen in some cities/provinces with sharia-based bylaws. We need to have this conversation before it’s too late.

Indian people in Malaysia idk much about them as they tend to blend well with community and most of them don’t have much complaints ( speaking from my experience in having Indian friends who always been so kind ). We too in Malaysia never forced the non Muslim to wear hijab or must attend religious talk. Forcing non Muslim to wear hijab or asking them to convert re consider as crime since those re harassment.

It's just 2 provinces (Aceh and West Sumatera) out of 38 provinces in Indonesia. but it's still wrong nevertheless. Aceh is special case because implementing sharia laws was part of MoU for ending conflicts between Aceh's separatist movement vs Indonesia. Looking at the history of Aceh, it was the last region that was fallen to the Dutch indies colonials, for only about 4 decades (1903-1945), but it had been under Indonesia for 65 years but they had to abandon their way of life like forever? so they decided to try to secede, but anything that can stop them from doing it was just a win-win solution for Indonesia. So it's kind of misleading to include Aceh as an example of islamification of Indonesia. West Sumatera was just being dick. many Indonesian founding fathers were from there, but they seems didn't like to continue their ancestors creation.

In Malaysia, after the isolated and minor May 13,1969 race riots between the Muslim Malays and Chinese voters in Kuala Lumpur where the majority Muslim-Malay population (UMNO party) lost the votes to the Malaysian Chinese (Democratic Action Party (DAP), the government took a drastic stand to pull the poorer Malays out of poverty. It did this by announcing the 1969 New Economic Policy (NEP) which was a massive affirmative action national program in every sector exclusively for the Malays. It was supposed to last only 30 years but even after 55 years, this policy still exists now with much resentment by the non-Muslims ! The program became skewed, hugely racist, corrupted and manipulated by elite ruling Malay politicians and their leaders especially by the notorious, 22-year massive corrupt rule of ex-PM Mahathir Mohamed who all fabulously enriched their families. During this time, Mahathir also cultivated pro-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-non Muslim policies which turned Malaysia from an English-speaking, top-level nation in education within Asia to a huge class of Malaysians with a poor standard of English and falling school standards. He also led the proliferation of Islamic schools called 'madrasah' and colleges which further eroded the racial unity in Malaysia. Malaysia's ringgit currency was once the pride of Asia (parity of 1:1 to the Singapore $) in 1965 but now has sunk to an unfathomable RM3.5 : 1 Sing $. The damage has been done and this has led to the brain drain in the country of so many wealthy and educated non-Muslim Malaysians emigrating !

By PAS's logic, Malaysia shouldn't have any non-Muslims in government, which means that minorities in Malaysia shouldn't be represented in government. Now that's what we call radicalism. And see how radicalism has taken them. Due to religion and race being such a big part in politics, Malaysians could only wish to compete against first world countries in the west, at least in terms of development. This is painfully obvious even when you look at the disparity of rights between citizens of different races within the country and even between citizens of different states govern by people with different political ideologies. When you take conservatism to the extreme, you essentially take away progress and development.

MALAY-sia: Racial discrimination is embodied within the social and economic policies of the Malaysian government, favouring the Malays and in principle, the natives of Sabah and Sarawak. The Malays obtain heavily subsidised education in local universities and make up the bulk of these universities, including in terms of employment. In fact, the resources of Sarawak have been exploited for decades, with the Malaysian government enriching governmental officials and their associates. The concept of Ketuanan Melayu or Malay supremacy is accepted by the Malay-majority political sphere. While 179 countries have ratified the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), Malaysia is not one of them.

Stop acting like a victim.. u think u are a being discriminated? let tell u the truth what is real.. 1) bumipitra no chance get employed in high paying jobs unless you are "mandarin speaking only" the only high paying jobs we can get are as government servants and GLC companies.. but at least GLC companies do employ non bumi in high paying jobs.. 2) Discrimination on people wearing hijab, low paying foreign workers (majority are muslim), and bumiputra in non bumiputra firms 3) Since major big developers in Malaysia are controlled by non bumiputra. almost zero chance a bumiputra get invited to commercial land/shop lot for opening sale. although its open market but u need to get invited buy a commercial land/shop lots.. commercial land/lot/shop are way more valuable than housing.. 4) non bumi has total controlled in financial market, and import export export.. it is almost imposible for a bumi to compete in export import market and the financial market.. 5) did u know that a bumi have relatively lower chance to get any kind of business financing that the non bumi..? 6) and yes housing although bumi have 10% discount.. but a non bumi can easily get 10% rebate from developers u would essentially get 100% loan from the bank.. because developer rebate!!.. for a bumi u need to have cash money for deposits.. also since non bumi are way richer housing market in big cities are to expensive for a bumi to buy a house.. 7) although NEP program may seem disciminitory but it actually benefit private sector (controlled by non bumi) the most.. if bumi standard of living increase it open up bigger market for non bumi busineses to sell its good and services.. making them billionaires, and in return open up high paying jobs for "mandarin speaking only", and left low paying jobs for bumis and foreign worker.. how do u think the owners of like ECO Shops and others become billionaire ?

Talk about Indonesia, I will advice you My Friend. If any body here has some family member going holiday to Bali, either your family is Male or Female, just be careful at there. Because too many of those Muslim coming around to Bali Island, especially this time, they're gonna trying to taking down your family member by dating each other religions, and they're trying to approach them by convert to Islam as well. That's a real tragedy. Be careful at there.

What do you mean by dating? If you mean girlfriend and boyfriend going out to know each other for marriage purposes...

@@sunset2.00 what about if approach with convert to Islam. Do you agree?
@AlbertNeri-fu3ev8 ай бұрын
@@sunset2.00 I don't mind if they're getting married at there, as long is not with Muslim and not convert to Islam.

I think you mean they try to establish a relationship with a foreigner possibly asian muslim female and white male tourist. Yeah,thats a common case. First they want your genes so they could have mixed blood child. Second,its for religious mission and try to recruit as many as possible through marriage.
@AlbertNeri-fu3ev8 ай бұрын
@@KamKam-zo6xh exactly. You know what I'm thinking about that. The most Important thing that they are make use all of tourist genes to create population of them. And then, automatically those tourist must follow their husband or wife to stay in Indonesia, have a child raised at there, and trying to make sure their child from their relationship to become Army or Police at there. And most dangerous first thing if their children serve in the Military Force at Indonesia, they're trying to against their own people of tourist come from. That's why I keep telling to all of you to be careful about this one.

Its a shame and backward moving away from civil progress. While we acknowledge and respect all religion (including islam), not wanting to embrace forward moving mindset is as dangerous as trying to be protective in certain idealogy.
@sunset2.008 ай бұрын
You have to clarify what you meant by forward moving mindset as word like that can mean anything from each person's point of view.

It’s always comes with changes in rules, then it will finally proceed to the normalisation of cleansing and oppression on the minority non-muslims.
