In reality if you lived here its not alwasy like that, in this world there alwasy a bad and good people despite their religion. On bandung people actually can enjoyed their lived freely even if they wanna do something other religion say not to do, even if its a sin that christian say not to.. but make sure to keep it to yourself and dont bose about it on public... Its just the society gonna judge them, btw if you lived on medan close to aceh whic is at the same province sumatera there is many more cristen people actually and also there is the most balance place where christen and islam lived peacefully but yeah they still lived on specific area for most of the time where on one block there only Christian and other block is Islam but there also a mix block that have both.. And i feel the reason why there a bad thing happen to other religion believers area because of a bad practic and a close environment like what i say before... So imo we need to make both Christian and muslim lived closelty together so they can learn how to lived cofienciently.. Because a bad thing can happen to the both party Edit : btw i also have more theory about how they do what they do, so because most of them lived on specific block with only the same faith as them, for both party its can developt their thinking to being close with the one are familiar to their environment before... so its make more indiversity on many thing like friends group or even bussiness partner and that also can make them build up mindset of hating eachother or even disgusted by eachother.. And then both rty can become radical and racist to each other.. Just because they never be able to realy know each other as a human effected by their own living environment. So yeah i belive a introduction of mix residential block is a must..

Indonesia will impose "halal" label for every food stall in Bali. This is OUTRAGEOUS!! As a Balinese this is a form of spiritual oppressions. Pork and wine has been our food culture and it taste good and no health problem moderately consuming it. I feel "colonialize" by Middle East culture proxy. Imposition of any label such as Halal or Kosher or any other religious specific diet should be ILLEGAL, because it is discriminative.

Babi itu sehat dan murah, biaya untuk mendapatkan protein dari babi adalah 1/10 dari sapi. Makanya generasi kita cebol2 dan tak bisa tinggi. Former President Devan Nair stayed in Malaysia and DAP won the 1969 elections in a KL constituency, triggering the May 19 racial riots. Actually, it was more of the massacre of Chinese by Malays and they didn’t even let off infants and school children. LKY told Nair to come home to Singapore which he did.

of course, western countries who were mostly catholic before were not a tolerant society, freedom of religion is a concept adopted by the west first by protestant against the catholic and then adopted by secularism. protestant adopted this concept from Islam, witnessing the cosmopolitant of ottoman empire that consist of many religions. after all democracy is all about majority rules, it means the muslims do respect democracy, so when they re the majority of course they want sharia.....Islam is the origin of freedom of religion after all.

This is a warning to all secular countries. If you allow them the freedom to practise their islamic faith, it will not be reciprocated when they have expanded and are in the majority. The same freedom that you extended to them you will not get back. Same with halal establishments. You give up your inclusive space to let them halal-lise the premise which then becomes exclusive. Think long and hard before extending freedom to them to practise their faith, it is tantamount to you giving up your inclusivity and freedom.

Is the old saying goes they demand people to be tolerant of their religion tolerant of the way they're going to live their lives yet when they're no longer a minority but a majority then they're going to demand Everybody follow their religion or wind up wishing they had unfortunately there's people who will read something like this and say that's hate talk. No it's not it's truth it's what's going on in every single country that they've come into while they're laughing at the idea of people calling it as being an invasion yet even the KZbin people who have put up the videos of saying that it was nothing but insecurities of frightened children who worry about the influx of people coming into Western Europe and not into other Muslim countries. And they were laughing at people saying that it was on an issue of them being an invasion Force to take over a country. @@az-fy3mp Take off during work and while workin in government. They can wear it any other time of the day. I personally dont mind if someone wants to wear hijab at work and hope they are allowed to do that. But the main reason strict secular countries dont allow religious attire at work (especially government) is cuz they wanna stay secular. I dont dislike Islam or other religions. But plz dont pretend there isnt a conflict in France that could get nasty in the future. The beheaded teacher is a perfect example how barbaric religious conflicts can become. Regardless of the reasons, europeans have long move away from beheading ppl. It speaks miles when this is the answer to disagreemts. And it scares ppl. So instead of turning blind eye, please help address it. I know there is racism in France against innocent muslims too. Which is not ok. But i wont pretend as if all religious extremists are innocent. Indonesia whips gay ppl in some parts cuz of religion. France doesnt. Meaning indonesia is already treating non-believers worse + as subhumans by whippin them. And it's barbaric lefotver from abrahamic religions that found its way into the legal principles of the constitution. This is why it is important to protect the secular spaces and principles as good as possible from ALL religions. Nice day

I’m from Indonesia and specifically from a province with tendencies to adopt sharia-inspired bylaws and I’m thankful for CNA for this report. Most Indonesians are quick to say that these things only happen in Aceh as the only sharia-ruled province out of the 38 provinces that we have, but we often overlook the fact that there are other provinces that are quietly creating local bylaws that are inspired by religious laws. The public schools that made wearing the hijab an obligation is located in the province of West Sumatra, not Aceh. Just because in your city/province you have a good relationship between religions, your children can choose to wear hijab or not at public schools, people who are not fasting can freely eat and drink during Ramadan, non-Muslims can build their places of worship etc it doesn’t meant the same things can also happen in some cities/provinces with sharia-based bylaws. We need to have this conversation before it’s too late.

Actually its the same in Malaysia but idk why the media portrayed it like it was so bad. Like the video states Kelantan and Terengganu re part of Malaysia that Majority re Muslim still the non Muslim able to practice their religion since Malaysia too have their holy days as part of national holidays to respect them. The issue is the race, in Kelantan and Terengganu where mostly Malay they tend to show favour more towards the Malays while examples in Penang where theres more Chinese, the Chinese in Penang tend to favours more to the Chinese. Indian people in Malaysia idk much about them as they tend to blend well with community and most of them don’t have much complaints ( speaking from my experience in having Indian friends who always been so kind ). We too in Malaysia never forced the non Muslim to wear hijab or must attend religious talk. Forcing non Muslim to wear hijab or asking them to convert re consider as crime since those re harassment.

In Malaysia primary & secondary schools too especially some Christians schools that built & own by British ( & some became private schools). When they left, the goverment takes half of the school only for the syllabus , school subjects, school uniforms, organizations, teachers' salary, staffs like cleaners, officers, canteens salary goverment pay them .. The other half own by the chruch (depends of the school, if that school own by Catholic , so it owns by Catholic, if Anglican school , then it owns by Anglican chruch & so on..) exp like the principal must be Christian ( depends on the school i wrote earlier like if Anglican school, the principal must be Anglican) Christian prayer during assembly ( for non christian like Muslim & Buddha they kept silence during the prayer) school athem relating to Christian Saints, Father visit the school once Friday a month for Friday mass ( for other sect Christian & non Christians they also having their own prayer in other rooms) .. each class, teachers rooms, other rooms must put wooden Cross & students must have daily Christian prayer everyday before class & before exams like school exams & national exams ( like PT3 & SPM) but still staffs, teachers & students are Muslims, Christians & Buddhas exist there, during British occupation, only Christians are allow there just like my granpa told me during his school days.. I was learned in both full goverment school during primary & half goverment school during secondary so they are much different.. they are many types of half goverment schools & this one is one of them

malay muslims in malaysia originally had their own culture alongside islam before, it was way more lenient and relaxed in the past (malay women used to be featured on beer ads way back then), then the arabization started when the iranian revolution started, and apparently, short sighted malays thought that was great and malays needed to "be more conservative, and more like our arab brothers" religious conservatism is on the rise in malaysia, i cannot in good faith call malaysia a multicultural country anymore when the majority group is actively trying to suppress the minority.

It's just 2 provinces (Aceh and West Sumatera) out of 38 provinces in Indonesia. but it's still wrong nevertheless. Aceh is special case because implementing sharia laws was part of MoU for ending conflicts between Aceh's separatist movement vs Indonesia. Looking at the history of Aceh, it was the last region that was fallen to the Dutch indies colonials, for only about 4 decades (1903-1945), but it had been under Indonesia for 65 years but they had to abandon their way of life like forever? so they decided to try to secede, but anything that can stop them from doing it was just a win-win solution for Indonesia. So it's kind of misleading to include Aceh as an example of islamification of Indonesia. West Sumatera was just being dick. many Indonesian founding fathers were from there, but they seems didn't like to continue their ancestors creation.

In Malaysia, after the isolated and minor May 13,1969 race riots between the Muslim Malays and Chinese voters in Kuala Lumpur where the majority Muslim-Malay population (UMNO party) lost the votes to the Malaysian Chinese (Democratic Action Party (DAP), the government took a drastic stand to pull the poorer Malays out of poverty. It did this by announcing the 1969 New Economic Policy (NEP) which was a massive affirmative action national program in every sector exclusively for the Malays. It was supposed to last only 30 years but even after 55 years, this policy still exists now with much resentment by the non-Muslims ! The program became skewed, hugely racist, corrupted and manipulated by elite ruling Malay politicians and their leaders especially by the notorious, 22-year massive corrupt rule of ex-PM Mahathir Mohamed who all fabulously enriched their families. During this time, Mahathir also cultivated pro-Islamic, anti-Semitic, anti-non Muslim policies which turned Malaysia from an English-speaking, top-level nation in education within Asia to a huge class of Malaysians with a poor standard of English and falling school standards. He also led the proliferation of Islamic schools called 'madrasah' and colleges which further eroded the racial unity in Malaysia. Malaysia's ringgit currency was once the pride of Asia (parity of 1:1 to the Singapore $) in 1965 but now has sunk to an unfathomable RM3.5 : 1 Sing $. The damage has been done and this has led to the brain drain in the country of so many wealthy and educated non-Muslim Malaysians emigrating !

By PAS's logic, Malaysia shouldn't have any non-Muslims in government, which means that minorities in Malaysia shouldn't be represented in government. Now that's what we call radicalism. And see how radicalism has taken them. Due to religion and race being such a big part in politics, Malaysians could only wish to compete against first world countries in the west, at least in terms of development. This is painfully obvious even when you look at the disparity of rights between citizens of different races within the country and even between citizens of different states govern by people with different political ideologies. When you take conservatism to the extreme, you essentially take away progress and development.

MALAY-sia: Racial discrimination is embodied within the social and economic policies of the Malaysian government, favouring the Malays and in principle, the natives of Sabah and Sarawak. The Malays obtain heavily subsidised education in local universities and make up the bulk of these universities, including in terms of employment. In fact, the resources of Sarawak have been exploited for decades, with the Malaysian government enriching governmental officials and their associates. The concept of Ketuanan Melayu or Malay supremacy is accepted by the Malay-majority political sphere. While 179 countries have ratified the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), Malaysia is not one of them.
