For anyone reading this, it’s never too late to pick up that Bible and admit that you’re just as messed up as everyone else…. But we have a god who created us in his perfect image and wants us to have a relationship with him. I’m a teen girl who’s had the word of God instilled in me since I was young, but I am easily swayed by the newest distraction in this life. Don’t stay lukewarm!!!! If God came down from heaven today, do you know where you’re going? Because I want to meet Him. The journey will not be easy and there wil still be temptations, but there’s a verse in the bible that says that other ppl also face the trials we go thru so we are not alone!! I pray to the person who has been seeing Jesus videos to rly inspect your heart and see whether or not you are living for yourself or for Jesus!! Gonna start using this tmrw!

i’ve never been close to god, i always beilived there was a god. this year was my worst year of my life. i’m 18, i graduated hs and didn’t know where to go or what to do. i turned to drugs and got addicted but i’m a couple weeks clean. i’m trying my best tot urn my life around and give my heart to god. reading the bible can be overwhelming and this method is going to help me so much. Been feeling overwhelmed with real life situations right now and sort of on the verge of possibly losing everything I've had and I find myself reaffirming to God that no matter what happens I will remain positive and not scared, but hours later always repeating the cycle of overthinking and depression.. - Was youtubing how to read the bible because I want a deeper connection with God and I know the best way is through the scriptures and this passage Mark 4:38-40 just sort of made me teary eyed... "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" - It feels right now like a giant stone has been lifted off my chest and the holy spirit has guided me here! I just want to encourage you that even though things seems really hard and challenging right now..know that God is near and that he will never leave you. Your situation will turn around in time, he will guide you, protect you and provide for you along the way. Some verses that has helped me when I face challenging times: 1 Peter 5:7 : Cast all of your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Mark 5:36 : Do not be afraid, just believe. Philippians 4:19 : But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory. As you pray, speak the word of God over your situation. Speak it over your mind, your thoughts, and may the word guide you and give you peace as you navigate through this time. Meditate on Jeremiah 29:11 : For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." This too shall pass my friend. It is a temporary season ( a short paragraph in your story). God will turn this around for your good. Take care. Sending you virtual hugs.

I have been reading the bible for a while now, but have trouble remembering things, I tried my own methods but this method seems to help me dwell and meditate on the scripture, so I can think about the words and works of God. (Psalms 77 and 119 mention meditating on commands and following them). The A and P allow me to put the scripture into action and to speak with God about it. Being able to do this method daily allows meaningful time with God whilst studying and memorising his word. Thank you for explaining this method Syera
