Seriously, the blades of chaos and the draupnir spear are some of the best weapons I've seen on design alone. The spear just looks so clean and cool, and the blades are badass all the way around

@@grey872 I guess in design of it but when it comes to the flames, I feel like Ragnarok takes the win it just looks better, and the plume of chaos looks so much better I mean in 2018 there was barely any fire if any at all look at how they fixed it.

You forgot more things are missed in this video: Guardian Shield: - Parry with projectile (same as GoW 2018 when press L1 at the same time) Shatter Star Shield: - Special Parry before hits you when double press L1 (works with any attack even with yellow/red ring attacks) Stone Wall Shield: - Parry when press L1 at the same time Spartan Rage - Fury Variant: - After grab an enemy with L1 button, launch with R1 button or finish with R2 button

1. Leviathan Axe : The Frost Axe given by his late second Wife Faye. Kratos able to produce Frost Damage by using the Axe Runic Attacks. It was also can be thrown into Opponents and called back. 2. Blades of Chaos : Momento from his Greek Past, the Blades has been upgraded to match the Nordic Realms. Now the Blades allow Kratos to deal Burn damage. 3. Draupnir Spear : Created by combining the Draupnir Ring and few other materials, which was also blessed by Brok. It can be multi-produce and give the power over Winds. When thrown into the enemy, it can be forced to explode creating a Stun and Dizzy attack. 4. Guardian Shield : A Gift from his late Wife, the shield able to cause a Shock Impact by deflecting an attack and protect Kratos from attacks. After being destroyed by Thor, the shield was repaired and upgraded to be throwable and stun the enemy. 5. Kratos' Fist : Despite having a Weapon, Kratos can also punch down and kick his enemy barehanded. 6. Spartan Rage : Hidden Power inside Kratos, able to increase his strength and power. 7. Talisman of Meign : A Relic that increase damage toward melee weapons. 8. Hilt of Gram : Giving a Rage Burst and also stun enemies. 9. Glaive of Dodher : Giving Kratos a Chakram with Bifrost power. 10. Hilt of Hofud : Causing a Distortion of Space & Time and create a Realm Shifts. Gain after killing Heimdall. 11. Hilt of Hrotti : Giving a Mark toward an Enemy that would increase the Runic powers. 12. Hilt of Firsbandr : Giving an Aura that push an Enemy backwards. 13. Huldra Project #9 : Allowing Kratos to make Mimir to shoot a Bifrost Laser from his eyes which also make him discomfort. Gain after finishing the main story. 14. Motsognir's Call : A Relic which allow him to create a Stunning shockwaves. 15. Hilt of Skofnung : Unleashing the powers of the Soul of Berserkers inside it. Gain after defeating all Berserkers. 16. Hilt of Angrvadall : Allowing Kratos to slash a three wave of Light. 17. Hilt of Dainsleif : Creating an explosion of Seidr Poisons. 18. Hilt of Ridill : Unleashing a Wave of Electric Shocks. 19. Hilt of Tyrfing : Reduce the Health and deal damage based on the amount of Health lost.

I'm conflicted about how shield combat got nerfed in favor of making selectable shields and in the other hand, I praise how they turned many runic attacks from GoW 2018 into regular moves or artefacts and increased the variety of the movesets that way.

I think i miss specific moves more than I do the entire moveset honestly; I loved using Agile Strike to move around and get a quick hit in that wasnt super committed. That and the shield sweep were favorites of mine I can understand tweaking some since i imagine hitboxes might look a bit janky, but using fists feels so slow and clunky now that I wonder why they stripped it back so much.

​@@perry-1572 My guess is, they wanted to make it feel more like the "second half" of the Leviathan Axe, than it's own thing. Due to it's throwing mechanics, the Leviathan Axe is tightly bound, or besser said, inseparable to unarmed combat, unlike the Blades of Chaos and Draupnir Spear. In GoW 2018 this wasn't much of an issue, since it felt natural and Leviathan was the new thing to get familiar with, but in Ragnarök, I guess they also didn't want the other weapons to feel "disconnected" in comparison and give Draupnir more purpose as the "stun damage" weapon.

​@@perry-1572 Speaking of specific moves missing, it's clear they got rid of the spamable/"cheese'able" moves. Agile Strike in particular, got reused as the Shield Bash for the Dauntess Shield. Shield Sweep is sadly lost.

The serpent snare is a better variant. It does just as much damage, has the invincibility frames, can launch enemies off the arena and causes a frost explosion that damages other enemies.
