Answer: Candidates having the following Qualifications are exempted from appearing in Part A of the Examination (i) B. Hi, now SW Listeners Radio license is discontinued, all the 4 types converted into to cat. General and Restricted, SW comes under Restricted grade. I have covered it in my lecture kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHbaZ2SkrrCWhtE

General grade is higher grade than restricted grade. General grade me Morse code transmission allowed hai, jabki restricted grade me Morse transmission allowed nahi hai, iske alawa General grade me jyada power permitted hai jabaki restricted grade me less power.

Is license valid only for a single location? Is there all india license?

Yes it is valid for a specific QTH location, for temporary change of locations it is allowed but for permanent change of locations, one has to apply through saralsanchar.gov.in to Ministry of Communications..

The Q-code is a standardised collection of three-letter codes that each start with the letter "Q". QTH means What is your position in latitude and longitude (or according to any other indication)? . License will be for Single location.
