@Fookyr probably becuse the skipped the scene when they were under the tree teaching Sylphie magic, and Sylphie was having trouble learning fire magic and Rudy asked "him" if he was afraid of fire Slyphie shows Rudy the burn and we get the lore about magic affinities

For a bit of context and lore from the novels NO SPOILERS. Beside blueballing us this hard I love this chapter. That wild rant about macking babys with Rudeus was something else 😂 In the novel it all happend inside her head. When princess Ariel asked Sylphie what type of relationship she wanted with Rudeus. She started to daydream about being his wiffe, weaking up beside him in the same bed cocking a lot of food for breackfast, macking lunch boxes, hearing his stories about his work after diner, spending time in the hall by the fire and then she started to fantacise about "Macking babys" and turned red, her ears wiglling a little while laughing with her adorable little giggle ❤ And ariel interrupted that daydream And asked her to imagine Rudeus having that liffe with another woman.... she picture Nanahoshi getting coazy with Rudeus and they close the windows as she wached from the outside. It was painful she wasn't gonna let that happen so she device her plan with Ariel and Luke while emotions where Runing high. They concider briefly to hire soldat partty as goons to treaten Syphie so Rudeus cud save her and see if he cud remember her. They abandon the idea. 1.- Rudeus may know the guys (he does) 2.-Sylphie is really strong and it woud not be convincing. 3.- it may damage Fits reputation and its a risk for Ariel 4.- people may get killed If you wonder what where Rudeus and Zanoba talking with Badigadi, they were trying to get his support for a figure buissness they have been planing for a while and saying they cud make figuries of Kishirika in all her stages of maturity. He saw right trough them but he find it amusing and aproved of their bartering merchan act. So they had a good laugh and Zanoba continued the negociations after Rudeus left with Fits. When Rudeus said he wasn't cheap Sylphie imagine Rudeus at the slave market but naked and got all flustered 😅 That Ring was to signal 2 avcance lvl whater mages so they cud make it rain. Rudeus was quite perceptive during this episode but allso dense AF 😅 I don't mind they omited that Rudeus recognized a scar Sylphie has in her hand, recognizing her by her eyes is much more romantic.

I'm on a serious high from this episode. I can't stop thinking about it and so happy that they finally met again after all these years. The love that they both have for each other and her confessing her identity just melts my heart. I'm going to watch it again tonight.

I have been waiting for this to be animated since the start of the season. They did a great job adapting it, even though there are more details in the LN that add even more feelings to the scene, the anime captured most of them. This is one of my favorite scenes in the novel series, Sylphie is best girl!

Yes a few things from the LN are left out. And the animation did take a little bit of a dip. But the overall story, overall production are still intact. I loved this core. Can't wait for more. And I love this channel too.

Read the light novel instead. The manga is not even a faithful adaptation. Also, the manga is not so far from the anime. The anime is at the end of volume 9 while the manga is at the middle of volume 11.

The LN there not sure much playing does Rudy recognized, but does the audience recognize sylphie and Fitz is the same person. They didn't confirm they were the same person untill this episode where Ariel goes what do you want Fitz, or that her Syphie"

Aside from the cave scene, the crown of the episode has to go to Ariel's reactions to all of Fitz's craziness. Her face just kept getting more and more lost the longer they kept talking.
