Saw over the top at the theater back then and yes there's going to be a Rocky 5 &6 then a spin off called creed and a Rambo 3,4&5 but never be a Cobra 2 but they didn't know that back then when they did this interview

So disappointed hearing Sly talk about the future of Cobra. It's my favorite non-Rocky, non-Rambo Stallone movie. It's also one of the best Sly movies that deserved a sequel (hell a whole franchise), with Tango and cash in a close 2nd. The way I see it, Cobra was Sly's version of "Dirty Harry". From the politics, the casting, and even the opening shot of the gun, taken right from the opening of "Magnum Force". If Clint could make 5 Dirty harry movies, 2 of which when he was old, I see no reason why Sly couldn't have made at least 3 Cobra's while he was young.

John Brzenk should have gotten more fame after this movie. Shit, Stallone's character is based on the 🐐 John Brzenk's real life. Who else's dominates his sport for 40 years. No other sports goat can claim to be on top for 4 decades
