@Jeffs8203 жыл бұрын
@@juliangonzalez584 Trim you mean. Lets say you are in your house and have zero wind you hover in place. Trim forward will make the quad move forward on it's on trim back and it will go backwards on it's own. Same for left and right. So to fight some minor winds one may trim out his quad or airplane. All RC has trims Cars boats ect. Hope that makes since. One this quad you really don't need to mess with trims to be honest just learn to fly it and everything will be fine. I rarely if ever use trims on any of my quads.

My second quad went very high into a large oak tree about three months ago. Unretrievable. I couldn’t even find or see it. It came down two days ago in a big rain/wind storm. Found it upside-down in the yard. Changed batteries. Works perfectly. Only the on/off switch is corroded in the ON position.

I dropped mine into a pool. Went and did something stupid and did an altitude test. Lol. Don't try this in your backyard! It got up at like 150' and when it lost signal, it was gone. I tried desperately turning my remote on and off trying to regain control, which only sealed my fate. It dropped when the battery died and fell into my pool. It sank right to the bottom where it stayed for 3 minutes until I could fish it out. It sputtered and flinched when I turned I back on so I considered it dead. The next day after it dried out it was 100%. I was amazed lol. I learned to fly it indoors with no wind so when I first took it outside I had to learn flying all over again. Because they're so light they are victim to even the slightest winds.

Very good instructional coverage for newbies. Thanks for making and sharing. This basically should be in the box on a USB stick on DVD disc along with the drone when you first buy it. The coverage is just enough and not too much. I will probably watching this a few more times so that I can learn my new S5WW-V3 that I just picked up. Now I'm looking to see which battery kit will be the most beneficial. It seems like you can use the same battery pack for the X5SW as you can for the V3? I'll find out one way or another.

Good vid, thanks for the share. One safety issue I would add is never violate the prop rotation space with your fingers, hand, tools, etc. even with the battery out. Make a habit of respecting the props - there will be a day when you spin up the props unexpectedly. Human error will get you every time. Go under the quad to lift it - respect the props.

No we call them tree hangers. I've never broke a prop on the X5C. Fly it like you stole it. The best advise I can offer is if you see your going to crash that's ok just kill the throttle and let it. Hey jeff, I am looking forward to buying the syma x5c-1 but my friends are telling me to go for the x5hc-1. Which one do u think will be a good option for me? I like ling range quads.
@Jeffs8208 жыл бұрын
well neither are long range. both are 100m without doing a mod to the radio. The x5c-1 is a great quad and takes a beating. Its more of a sporty flight. The x5hc-1 features altitude hold. its easier to fly but not as sporty. The altitude hold feature is always on with no way to turn it off. It does work well for making your videos more stable. Also the x5hc-1 is capiable of carrying a runcam camera if you want to. The x5c-1 will not unless you put x5hc props on it. Personally I like the X5C-1 with X5HC-1 props and mount a fx797t camera on top for FPV and a hood set of goggles for 5.8ghz flying. For the money its the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Hope this helps. check out my videos. I have a bunch flying both quads and do a bunch of mods.

They have a version that you can use your phone but it is so bad I do not suggest it. All Wifi cameras on these toys grade quads sucks. If your wanting to see what your camera is seeing I suggest 5.8ghz FPV camera. You can pick up an AIO camera cheap. Then you'll need either a 5.8ghz monitor or a ppair of 5.8ghz googles. You want regret it. FPV is where it's at. Something to think about. Don't skimp on your goggles. Spend good money on quality as they will work with all your future quads. I love my fatshark goggles. Best money I've spent on the hobby as was a good hobby grade radio. If you get those 2 items you can them purchase the BNF (Bind and fly) quads cheap and really enjoy the hobby. Good luck.

No you can not connect the X5C-1 to your phone. That would be the Syma X5HW. To be honest it's no that good. In fact it sucks. You should avoid any toy grade quad with wifi cameras. Reason being Wifi is 2.4ghz and so is your radio. The camera can and will step on the radio signal resulting in loss of control of your quad and you will crash. I have no idea why they even make them. It's because the public wants to use their phones. It's horrible just don't do it. I've tested 100's of quads and they are all the same. Keep your phone out of the hobby. Now with that said if your wanting to have a real time view from your quad you can do it. You should always use 5.8ghz FPV. I have a video showing what you need and how it works on my channel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpDJd4ZvfLmNnas

One inside a building and one outside in the parking lot. Proved the X5C was about indestructible LOL. Thousands of flights with 100's of quads under mt belt and still did it.
