Thank you for this video! I bought the same battery and plugged it in without changing the wires and the propellors started spinning all by itself and I sensed a bad burning smell. I plugged out the battery and found this video. I adjusted the cables like you said and now charging the batteries for the first time. Luckily my drone is still working!! thanks again!

This was my first Quadcopter - I basically flew it for about 10 hours. I have replaced 3 motors so far - Usually it is when I teach someone else to fly. The motors are about 6 bucks each. You have to remove about 20 screws to access the motors. I also bought some replacement gear assemblies, and have replaced two of those. I hear people saying they "BROKE" the X5C, I have yet to damage the plastic housing - But the motors are fragile - also have 3 Blade Props, seems to help performance alot. I purchased about 10 batteries, and a advanced charger. Still takes about 1 hour to charge each battery about 2.5 amps.

Just clarifying: did you just change the polarity of the new Turnigy battery? Same connector, just flipped the wires? And where exactly do you wrap that electrical tape? Right at the connector, on both wires?

I uses these batts as well but I did not have to do the battery mod to make work here in the US. Unfortunately I only get about 7 mins using the camera. I have went bigger with 800Mah batts and still get about the same run time. Not too sure it would be good for the motors running much longer anyway.

What about Samsung INR18650-30Q? Should be good to add that battery outside, below the original battery area? It is 3000mAh/15A, so it should works by 1 hour. It is not good idea if you had camera i think, because there is no other area to connect that battery.

I soldered two 1200mah batteries together in series and I can stay in the air for 28 minutes...you can just take 2 stock batteries and wire nut the reds together and then the blacks together. jus make sure you don't wire them in parallel and it will double your flight time no problem....also I removed the battery tray, landing legs, camera and prop guards for weight...we timed it at s8 minutes but Im not even sure it was full charged when I tested it...the Syma X5 is by far the best Quad you can get for the price. It actually out performs quads that cost twice as much (I know this from experience) haha

You can use two (or what ever numbers) batteries in parallel. But the weight will kill drone's performance. And overheated (from longer runtime) motors will have a very short time.

I have a generic dre beats pill I modded the battery to a 5000 mah. I took the battery from a power Bank charger. was a little bit heavier. No, the batteries are quality 750 Ma but you will have to swap the wires. I would not call them "Upgrade Syma" batteries though and the advertising is misleading. Get them on Amazon with the red and black already fixed and you will avoid damaging the connector.

Well... I'm going to get these batteries. Two of those. I ordered the GPToys F2C. It's a similliar drone, but better. I still don't have it. I hate shipping from China to Czech Republic :/ Anyway, I don't want to use the charger that will come with it, that would be very slow, and maybe bad for my batteries. So I've got three TP4056 boards. I will wait for my drone, and then I will buy the batteries, because I bought it on ebay for 22£, that's atleast 30£ cheaper than buying from banggood, gearbest or etc. You know...so cheap...maybe i will receive just a brick instead of a real drone. If i will receive a drone instead of a brick, i will buy three male losi connectors, solder them to the TP4056s and enjoy!

a,you know anything.........my original,500, is 13gr and the.....fake is 21gr....... original 5-6 minut, 1000mAh 9-10 minut. hey,is close the duble time,but the extra 8 grams cut some time..... but with 750 not even 7 minut,beacouse i have a 700 mAh too.......
