Thanks for the review, these are now around $40, will likely get one! Two things to add... The top right button has three functions: 1. Hold for three seconds starts the video (stops it with just a press) 2. Press and release takes a still image 3. Disconnect the cable going to the camera and this button activates the flip-function.

I really like my x5 it really fly smooth if you take the prop guards off it is twice the quad copter it just doesn't have the power to carry any extra weight. Nice job on the video

Alright, did a good job on controlling the Quaid, I received my X5C and found that It was missing the video card and that one of the motors had a solder joint that came loose and one bad motor. Got in touch with dealer and after a week of chatting on something they call ticket which takes forever I just went ahead and ordered two motors each for $5 apiece for spares and finally got to fly it after one month from ordering. It does fly quite well and handles reasonably stable in light wind. It seems to be made of a polyethylene so will be very resistant to damage.

I've got one of these. They're very easy to fly if you're a beginner, can recommend as a starting copter. Don't expect to make flips or things though (or I'm just not that good yet, but I doubt it's possible) The red plastic over my LED lights fell off almost immediately though other than that it's fine

This doesn't relate to this exact quad copter but I have one of my own and I was wondering if it would be ok to use the same voltage lipo battery that it didn't come with? They arnt the same connector exactly but I've tried to connect them and it works fine.

Our red switch and socket for the camera are 'lost' inside the fuselage and we need to be able to open the whole thing up so as to push that piece of board back into the aperture. We have taken most of the screws out but it looks as though we still need to take the rotors off in order to separate the top half of the fuselage from the bottom half and really get inside. How can one take the rotors off - or can't one?

I cant get mine to hold any given altitude that I want it at? I get it to an altitude that Im comfortable with and it just keeps wanting to go higher if I don't throttle it down or off all together to keep it from getting away from me because it is to high? I got lucky with mine, had it about a week now and my friend pushed me to take it higher since he though it was cool but it went so high I could not see it managed to pass several huge trees and landed on soil in the middle of a pedestrian island in between the road it was madness. I was lucky to get it back .
