@@0912sooli Wrong. There is a difference between starring in a low budget flick written by an amateur writer with a first time director and starring in a big budget movie with a world class team attached to it. I was at the world premiere and the director gave a Q&A after the screening. Yes, Nic Cage ad-libbed a lot of his lines and the choice of song for the jukebox dance scene was also his idea. The director confirmed he just went along with most of Nic's requests just because it's Nicolas Cage and it would have been foolish to not let him do his thing. Also, that red blazer cost 6000$ iirc.

He's daring and fearless in his choice of roles, and unafraid to crawl out on a limb, saw it off and remain suspended in air. No one else can project inner trembling so effectively."

Speaking of Nick Cage movies, I tried to see if you had a review for Drive Angry and came up empty. I dunno if you've seen it, but if you haven't you'd love it. Nick's performance is a little more subdued, like he's trying to take the role seriously when the movie calls for it despite the script really understanding what it is. He plays a father who escapes from Hell to avenge his daughter's murder and all the while a demon, played by William Fichtner, is hunting him down like a bail bonds enforcer to bring him back. It was a fun movie.
