Właśnie wyszedłem z Kopernikowskiej w NOSPR w Katowicach. Moment kiedy wchodzi chór mnie totalnie rozjebał na gęsia skórę!

I discovered this piece some 12 years ago, via an accidental C D, to this day I do not know how I got that C D. I liked it then , I like it now. I listened to it while driving at night in rain, for sure it kept me focused. I like its sadness and conversation. I Feel it depicts the sad process of the Copernicus prosecution. - - California.

What prosecution? I think you re confusing him with Galileo.

Copernicus was experiencing no persecution during his life. He was in fact a renowned and respected intellectual of his time. His works became subject of criticism and polemics after his death, but mostly on the basis of what we would call competition between theories today. It took some time until his theory was recognized as true, but that's quite a common thing with great scientists.

I do, yes... Love it. Try Olivier Messiaen’s Turangalîla-Symphonie for more wonderful 'out there' pieces.
