Druid is definitely fun, I just wish it was less homogenous. The staples are so powerful the deck building really is just picking 1-3 cards as your wincons.

there are pretty cheap tempo decks available that are really good rn, the mech paladin in this video and beast hunter come to mind if that's your thing, about slower decks idk really as I would never personally call druid fun and everything else is not really "slow" but to each their own

because he's one of those tech cards like Platebreaker and Eater of Secrets were just so, so, so obviously printed to counter exactly one or two specific decks... and then in the 99% of other matchups where you don't need it, it's just a completely useless dead draw that eats a topdeck in Stickyfinger's case, the painful obviousness comes from the fact that he only became relevant because of Instrument Tech getting printed, like he is literally only being run because he steals Kingsbane... and it's not really very fun to win just because you played a tech card that exists solely to hard counter that very specific deck that you queued against

Makes kb feel like shit to play even when it's viable, there's no reason to que up with kb right now when you could play either meta druid or odd pally and win just as fast without the chance of getting undone by a single card. Platebreaker doesn't completely stop armor druid from building back it's armor again and eater of secrets doesn't prevent mage from playing any more secrets.

You can still have a real game against Kingsbane without running a card that reads “beat specifically Kingsbane and nothing else”. You can see from the game I played that there was plenty of interaction with the deck without it, just unnecessary. Games coming down to one player drawing a specific tech card that isn’t useful outside that match is lame. Everyone who enjoys playing Sticky should still do it, I just don’t.

Finally someone who shares my sentiment for Stickyfinger, it's the only tech card in the game that really shouldn't exist as long a s Kingsbane is a thing, the perfect way to fix it would be adding something like (control of this card cannot switch) to KB in a sort of yugioh-esque way, so sticky keeps its utility

Isn’t kingsbane exactly why a card like stickyfinger should exist? Unless a way to silence weapons were to be added, only stickyfinger exists to deal with Kingsbane. In any other matchup Stickyfinger is kinda very bad, so you can’t really afford to run it unless there’s a critical mass of Kingsbane ETC makes it easier to run such cards, but still.

I still don't really buy the sticky finger or similar cards are cringe. Card games are more fun when you need multiple ways to win instead of just relying on one card like kingsbane, you deserve to be punished. That being said Hearthstone has only half-heartedly committed to this playstyle so it is quite the mess atm.
