I was at this show and man it was an awesome show !! The sound guy did a hell of a job with it! Everything sounded perfect. Nobody was left out of their sounds!10/10 show for sure

Out of the two times I've been fortunate enough to see them, the first gig they were beyond flawless, the second Russel was sick and the venue's sound was mud. Almost every time I see a live video it's like that second show. You've summed it up perfectly.

@@666Havers They really are. I was chatting with LePond, I recall sounding like an idiot and he was just so pleasant. Symphony X were supporting Blind Guardian who's tour bus had broken down. Instead of cancelling the show they still played, tapping a couple local bands to open. They even offered refunds to ticket holders. Great guys. I wish they had enjoyed success commensurate with their ability.

Am I the only one that miss both Russell's vocals and the songs from before that? I mean, I love listening to all albums up to the Odissey. Paradise Lost has its moments, but from Iconoclast and Underworld... I don't know, feels like another band... I really wish they could go back to their roots both on studio and on live shows... I really miss Russell's more soft voice and the symphonic melodies of songs like the accolade, divine wings and others from back in day...

Romeo is certainly one of the greatest. I know everyone say that for their favorite guitarist but Romeo has it all, the incredible chops, the phrasing, vibrato, his abilities to compose, arrange and orchestrate, he's really one of a kind and not a mere amazing "shredder"

Russell is much better now in 2024 since he lost a lot of weight and got fit. Check the latest bootleg from Toronto, it is awesome, the whole band sound amazing. Still waiting for an official live DVD after 25 years of loving SX😂
