My doctor told me to Hawaiian salt gargle, saline the nose and use Robitussin DM for cough and mucus. The Hawaiian salt gargle supposedly also helps with keeping the viral load too I believe they said. I also had nose congestion and I found that the Mucinex nose spray helped to relieve stuffy nose.
