My LS was surging at about 40mph then would go away when i put my foot down and had poor idling and stalling, took me a week to figure out it was the map sensor 😂 now she run’s perfect, then the tensioner pulley decides to snap clean off on the freeway 😤 ahh the joys of project cars

I have a 2012 Malibu ls and it’s doing that bad like at a stop and trying to go on a green I did get a p0106 code so you think it’s the map sensor ??

I found this and I ordered the MAP sensor from Rockauto for $50.00. It will be here in a few days. I used the GM part number on the old one. Thank You for your help!

My ls is stalling rough idling my mechanic cleaned my throttle body and maf sensor but I do got a p0106 code

I have weird problem that cause me headache, the problem is that when I drive all good, but when I approach to 🛑 I slow down the car and put in neutral then the rpm is bouncing up and down until the car is completely stop. When I disconnect the map sensor and I drive the issue is gone. I've plugged OBD2 and looked for possible errors and nothing... I've read that a bad TPS could be the problem, I really don't know what else to do, I've tried the idle relearn and nothing, now I am waiting for my bidirectional scan tool to try TB relearn. If that not fix my problem idk what else to do.

I have a 1990 Ford F150 and everything but the TPS sensor, Idle Air Control Valve, and the map sensor. It starts fine, runs fine, idles fine. But second gear or when accelerating to pass it bogs down and doesn't have any get up and go. Shifts great but these are the last of what I know I can replace to fix the issue. Also the check engine light comes on intermittently.

I replaced two map sensor including clean throttle Body on my mercedes benz C250 and after one day driving back with same fualt P0106 & P0068 especially no vacuum leaks at all, any recommendations to solve this issue or you think need to drive the car for couple more days and fualt will clear by itself

You can get the same symptoms from a massive air fuel sensor

I’m having same symptoms did a whole time up still there new fuel filter and cts nothing I check tps it’s good now I’m down to map , or fuel pump I get bad gas mileage and my car runs rich and now it starter to bogg at high rpm 3-7 k

I've removed the map sensor and it was completely bunged up . Im not to sure, but can I use the entry to spray in erg cleaner so it cleans the pipe leading to it as well as the erg valve at tge same time . ? 🇬🇧

Okay. So I'm on my 3rd map sensor in a week and they all read 2.5v from the signal and 5v to the constant even when you slowly rev it up. What eles could be wrong? 1995 Ford Bronco 5.8

Have a Volvo V70 with this problem. Had too much fuel before, changed the MAF, now to little fuel error with the Lambda. Well, I'm trying to change the MAP when the part arrives.. starting to go crazy about this soon...

MAP sensor should read 99kpa or 100kpa when the ignition is ON position

My Honda J-series engine (2007 V6) has rough idle and sometimes misfire DTC. I noticed that the idling engine "Intake manifold absolute pressure" is around 27 kPa. During normal highway driving at constant speed, I see fast fluctuations without reason (going up to 75 kPa or 85 kPa for a fraction of a section and then drop to around 27 kPa). When engine is not not running, I get 100 kPa (close to 1 atm), My LTFT is +14% or sometimes +20%. Is my MAP sensor bad? If so, why do I get 100 kPa and 27 kPa which are considered normal for non-running engine and idling engine? Overall fuel economy is around 20 mpg on par with similar cars. I hope someone can shed a light on this (esp. whether fast and large kPa fluctuation is normal or not). Thanks.

I smell fuel i have late start my rpm gone crazy and fuel gone down with not reason 😂 maybe is a map sensor i clean the map sensor couple times but is the same im gonna replace the map sensor but i dont know if this work

What sensor to check if the car goes from 0 to 100mph very fast but struggles to go beyond 100mph even if you press hard the acceleration pedal it doesnt achieve 120, 140, 160, or even 180mph.
