I had my negative cable to my battery sever off of the chassis on its own. I’m pretty sure it’s because it overheated and melted off of the thing or cut itself off from it but I’m not sure let me know when the comments.

I have golf 4 tdi i Connect negative batery and also Cable negative with 1 bulb mod and bulb turn on 😮 so i find that was draining but how to fix ?

It can kill your battery, but the alternator should always charge until it doesn’t even if what it’s supposed to charge isn’t getting the charge. It’s cheap, & surely you can find somebody to do a minor repair for you if you don’t want to try it. Even a shop would be under 100 dollars. New terminals only are about 15-25 depending what kind you get. Instal would be one hour.
