It's the new atakhan buff, if you kill atakhan he gives you this buff I think, I can be wrong though

so, Atakhan is the new epic monster (joining Baron Nashor, Void Grubs, Drakes, and the Rift Herald), and he has two separate forms. the problematic form, in this case, is Voracious Atakhan. when you kill VA, your entire team gains what is essentially a free Akshan passive. when you are next killed, you'll still give the enemy gold, but you'll shortly respawn back at your fountain, effectively denying any tempo that would've been gained normally. it effectively kills off any hope of the opposing team mounting a comeback. combining this with the feats of strength and this just makes for a snowball heavy season. it's going to be absolutely miserable to be losing this season, like more-so than any other.

@@Dracon350 They also only give 100g per kill instead of 300 + shutdowns. The enemy gets no exp for the kill (which can be a lot at high levels) and takedown effects like Jinx passive or triumph rune are not triggered. On top of that, the team with the atakhan buff gets 40 extra gold for each kill

At 10:20 min the goal for League as said by the developers is for games to end faster. So it makes sense that if the enemy team doesnt try to play around the revive mechanic, should lose. Complain but the reality is players need to learn how to play around it just like baron and elder.

About the Atakhan clip that jankos was talking about, the score was 22-9 in kills and they were pushing to end with atakhan buff so like 20ish mins. Atakhan respawn didnt help them win, they would have won regardless, all atakhan did was speed it up

Atakan might be the stupidest thing ive ever seen from riot games ngl. Gives you a free do whatever you want without consequenses card.Not only it revives you wich would already be stupid enought but it teleports you back to base.....All those objectives combined are a problem as well forcing you into a fiesta of a game that seems just too conflippy.
