@@nbatista5803the neurotransmitters open channels for Na+ Ions at the post synaptic membrane. Na+ gets into the post synaptic cell and causes a depolarization. If strong enough that depolarization causes an action potential. Hope this helps.

It's like winning the jackpot in the neurochemical lottery, and we're all in it to win it. So, let's raise a glass to flow, the most addictive experience on Earth. And who needs drugs when you've got a brain that can mix 'em better than any street dealer? Cheers!
