Great information. Although you were focusing on this aspect in the context of a romantic relationship, I find that the ideas also ring true for my purposes. I share this aspect with my mom (her Pluto is conjunct my Sun within 3 degrees): she definitely has been key to all of my personal transformations (although sometimes I have to pull away because she can be smothering) and it seems I do trigger some of her unresolved issues with her deceased brother. It's funny that one of her nicknames for me is "My Sunshine" (based on the song). Also, from what I understand our souls choose our parents--so in that sense of the word "soul mates" everything you've said is true for me. :)

I also have this aspect with my mother; conjunct less than one degree. I'm the sun person. It has been a powerful relationship to say the least! She had a very traumatic childhood and tried to bury it all and never look back but I somehow "shown a light" on it and triggered her. I didn't mean too! I saw through the facade even as a child. It was very difficult for her as she couldn't hide from me like she could everyone else including my older brother who didn't see her shadow at all. He was the golden boy and could do no wrong but before she died of cancer, I was the one who really knew her. She left a book of poetry to the family including her three children and mine mentioned that I was the one who loved her for who she really was. wow, no wonder I still dream about my bf from HS decades later ... (pluto obviously was close we are same age,) both had our suns opposing eachother exactly (my sun is EXACTLY conjuct lilith, too) and we both had pluto squared sun in our natals. there were north and south node exact aspects, and positive moon... yes it was very transformation but I knew to let it go. Whoa i have this aspect with a friend and interest! My pluto conjuncts her sun 0° and her pluto squares my sun 5° I originally met her 2012 and just as you described initially there was that need to hide from one another. Or avoid eachother. But we were both very consious and aware of each other. We're highly attracted to one another and have yet to see any of the negative pluto aspects though i dont doubt they are there. I will say that i focus on self healing all the time and consider myself healthy in that regard and i believe she is too, so we'll see how things go. It's odd, whenever I am the Pluto person in the conjunction I actually feel somewhat creeped out by the Sun person, not at all attracted sexually although I think they are attracted sometimes. I have had this aspect a lot in friendships and either it was emotionally intense and deep, or they just rub me the wrong way. I couldn't imagine dating them though. I seem to be more attracted by the soft aspects and even the square.

I come back to this video, because I have a question. I know this aspect pretty well, having it myself in a natal chart and translated into my synastry. I've been reading a chart though, where the sun person had completely unaspected sun. No quintiles, deciles, noviles, not even to some more popular asteroids. Her unaspected sun in sagittarius in 3rd house, so you can get the expression a little bit, would be conjunct by her older cousin's pluto. Now the sun person has a lot of loneliness in her chart. Unaspected sun and 12th house moon, aspected, but only by squares and opposition, though conjunct ascendant. The pluto person has worked out her pluto square venus problem a little bit, but their interaction has ended before she managed that. What would you guys say about a non-romantic contact such as this?

Not as dramatic or potentially destructive as the conjunction. Quintiles can bring some manner of obsession but it's rarely negative unless it's Mars/Pluto. Then all bets are off.

@@thatgurunia it was extremely passionate, when we met time froze I just had to touch him. lots of intimacy then lots of fighting we burned to the ground lol we triggered each other a lot, Granted our suns squared and my Venus mars and Pluto were on his moon and his Saturn was on my south node. After consistently accusing me of cheating, he got someone pregnant and I packed his things and threw them downstairs in the drama lol Looking back we weren’t that compatible I wanted to travel and live a big life which I do now and he wanted to move out to the country and grill every weekend, which not does now.

How common are clusters of pluto aspects in synastry charts? My sun conjuncts his pluto and i have just now realized what a spell i’ve been under the last couple of days. I have never felt a connection, attraction or energy quite like this one before, it’s pure obsession. Is the pluto partner always breaking down to ’build up’ unconsciously? Even though fatalistic astrology is wonky; is there anything else in particular the sun should lookout for in the pluto partner? In my experience, it's typically mutual. The Pluto loves you as much as you love them - or feels as obsessed. But Pluto also feels like he/she can see through you, so if you're not being your "real" self, that will quite possibly annoy them. At least, that was how it was for me. I hated when the Sun person pretended to be someone he was not. I found it shallow and unattractive, because I felt the REAL him, which I could see so clearly, was the most beautiful thing in the world. I wanted him to see it (and let it out), too.... :( Just my experience. Could be different for others.

Damn i feel terrible. The person im interested in has many pluto aspects with a 3rd party. 3rd party is the pluto so they have the control. I have this aspect with them but in a square. Them being the pluto and me the sun. Alot of trines between our planets but who cares? Pluto creates obsession and that feeling of "fate." Im sure 3rd party is the "one" in their eyes. Ill mourn my loss and hopefully find a plutonic relationship for myself.

+Osama ِAlhafez I explain it easily. Pluto is a slow moving planet. Your Sun is going to be conjunct to anyone’s Pluto in your age range. If you don’t like this aspect then you will need to date people older or younger.

Thanks for replying i really appreciate it. What are your takes on Pluto squaring ALL inner planets but mars (composite). and also north node conjunct Venus by 1 degree (composite). I really find it interesting but i would like an expert opinion on it. The Pluto conjunct sun in composite mainly comes from sun opposing/conjunction Pluto in the synastry chart one is conjuncting pluto and the other is opposing.

No honey. Your Sun does not conjuct all people Pluto in same sign as your Sun. Look at the degree of your Sun first. Example your Sun is at 15°. Then, you probably feel conjuction most to people Pluto at 6° or 22°. I remember between two planets, many astrology website does not include 8°degrees or more. The closer the orb, the more you feel it. Maybe you can get along with Pluto with 10° degrees more aspect to your Sun, since it can lessen the degree of both Sun and Pluto person intensity.
