Wow, now that this video is finally uploaded, I hardly know what to say!
It's a birthday present to myself, and a present to all of you too 🥳 🥳 Thank you all who have looked forward to this, given me encouragement, who will watch during the premier, and who will watch this later on. Leading up to this, I kept feeling like... maybe it's time to end a chapter in my life? I'm 25 now, an ambitious project that I've worked on for years (seriously...) is finally done, and I've fulfilled a lot of what younger-me always dreamed of creating. And yet the more I worked on this, the more I realize that I still don't want all this to end :) So covers will keep coming! y'all won't be rid of me anytime soon 😊

Something I always found interesting was the fact Len breaks the dragon priestess's mask. In truth it would have been a better idea to simply kill her so there was no chance she tries to stop him, yet he chose to take a risk and help her instead. As always an amazing cover, I can't wait to listen to it on repeat over the next week!

I read in another video that the mask that she was wearing was controlling her (you can tell because she was crying as Len ran past her after he destroys her mask also because you can see the mask being forcefully put on her in 6:45) and afterward the mask was broken Miku resurrected Rin so they could permanently seal the dragon forever. Id like to believe that the person that was controlling her was Luka. Hence the reason Meiko turned on Luka, because Teto was Mei’s bestfriend, and Luka forced Teto to be the prior songstress. But honestly, I do agree because it was a risk because how did he know that was the thing that was controlling her??? and was just purely confusing to me when I first listened to it because I had no context so it felt like everything was thrown in there. 😂

Oh goodness gracious, I adore this already and I'm not even through the part 2 yet. It's a little strange for me, someone who got incredibly used to JoyDream's cover of this, to hear the lyrics and, in a way, the story and the sound of the song as a whole be quite so different, but I love this no less. Your lyrics are always wonderful, and I just love to listen to your voice. And your voice, your voice is just amazing and I love how you sing both Len and Rin, and the lyrics are so fascinating too! I love knowing different covers of songs I like as they, in a way, write a bigger picture than just one or just the original, and I find it interesting how differently different people make their covers and how much people's interpretations of a song can differ. both! this video is all three of them, with added narration and ad-libs that kinda tie the parts together which is why they are in the set! Day after tomorrow I will be publishing each part as a separate video too, without all the extra frills :)
