It's crazy. I listened to this and was like holy crap that's from the piano solo
@eliotmin6 жыл бұрын
Hold on. It’s cool that you like instrumental stuff but it’s unnecessary and rude for you to degrade the hard work this group put in. Chill and if you don’t like this, go listen to something else. It’ll be a better use of your time
@EpicLemonMusic6 жыл бұрын
@@eliotmin I wasn't degrading it, and I was commenting and liking the video to support the artists. But I personally and opinionatedly feel that adding random lyrics to what is recent work of art AND selling it on itunes is a bit disrespectful mainly because the composer just passed away. I am also just assuming that they are not paying for rights but I doubt they are as many of these types of groups do not.
@eliotmin5 жыл бұрын
I'm sure the artists appreciated your support. I'd LOVE having someone call a part of my performance "stupid"! This was arranged, performed, and uploaded before Roy Hargrove passed away. And they aren't selling this on iTunes. But those are beside the point. They did something interesting and unique and I daresay Roy would have enjoyed it.

LYRICS! Hey guys! The lyrics featured in this adaptation of Strasburg were written by Amanda Taylor, who arranged this piece & directed our group. They are: Take a little time and think of you and me Maybe think about the places that you want to see Make a little happy on the St. Denis Let's enjoy all the time we have to sit and daydream Imagine all the things I'd like to do with you You, baby I can feel the love and it'll be here soon There is peace and an easiness here in the afternoon Baby let's enjoy the ride Let the minutes go on by Tell me when you need to go But I like being by your side Would you give me all your love You're the one I'm dreaming of I can never get enough You are the one (You're the one, you are the one) *scat soli* Take a little time and think of you and me (Take a little time and think) Maybe think about the places that you want to see Make a little happy on the St. Denis Let's enjoy all the time we have to sit and daydream
