It’s an addiction. I’ve been running these rigs as you know too well for 30 years or more. I no longer sell parts for these odd balls, I hoard them now!

Love catching up on all your projects. That is a beautiful resto job on the single cab. You do amazing work. And a request for more DoKa content! How have you restored that rig? Have you ever considered how to add head rests to the rear bench? Some folks put them in the backrest but seems cramped and uncomfortable. What about fabbing a bar that mounts either side of the window and has pads for each seat place on it? Not sure how it would bolt in. Anyway thanks for the great videos!

Hi! I restored both of my trucks, I sold the single cab just this past weekend, it's headed clear across the country to BC! I've seen a Doka once with a bar and added padded sections where a head might collide with the back window or rear bulkhead. It's not ideal, but maybe better than whiplash? It was bolted through the rear on either side of the window, Not for me... Thanks for the kind words and for watching, All the best, Jeff and Leslie.

Hello looks like you have some restoration to do Different places with rust, bud it's replaceable.I did some Restoration on mine one VW T3 Single Cab 1982.Nice video.Greetings from Norway .HCS

It’s an illusion, it’s about 30mm higher than the boxer engine. How much clearance do you have under your TDi Syncro?
