@Chris Warren a stare down does not lack fear. Frazier was an undefeated fighter and was basically the same size with POWER and Frazier was a gold medalist in the Olympics. Also if you fight then you will know you are always fearful before each fight but some are much more than others

I amazed at the high quality of this video. This is from a golden era when boxers tipped the scales on the day of the fight. Today boxers weigh in the day before the fight which gives them all the time that they need to put on all the extra weight that they want. Weight-ins today are just promotional gimmicks

When big George said that he was scared of Frazier n Ken Norton he said that just to duped them into signing the contract and than whip their ass.i can't believe the slave wages these awesome legendary fighters were paid compared to today's clowns with no boxing skills..Frazier said only thing wrong he did fighting Foreman was signing the contract.

@@dankemo3169 absolutely frazier said that.i have a DVD and it's called(facing ali) and frazier said👉I didn't expect foreman to be so big and strong and the only thing wrong I went and did was👉 signing the contract or giving foreman a title shot why cause frazier got a beating and lost 4 teeth in that fight.these are the facts and they are undisputed.i am a boxing dictionary.

@@paulcooper5748 You have to consider how others felt but yourself. My birthday is January 8 Foreman is the 10th Joe Frazier birthday is the 12th January Clay 17th. I see a trend here. I'm sure Joe Frazier wasn't afraid but, I can tell you this he was very surprised when that Bell rung in Jamaica January of 1973.

Frazier was out of shape. He was nearly 10 pounds heavier than his first fight against Ali 2 years earlier.

Karlos Deadloss Most of the people Tyson fought were 6'3-6'4. His peak-a-boo style was meant to beat taller people. Mike normally weighed more than Foreman so Foreman only has the reach advantage, while Mike obviously has the speed and skill advantage. It would be legendary seeing these two fight it out in their prime

@@taracanyon1 tyson is short and stocky which is why he still could fight big hws 218 for someone big and tall isnt alot thats why foreman was alot stronger when he was older same with ruddock ruddock started his career at 215 and wasnt as strong then started fighting at 235+ and was killing everyone

Foreman wasn’t light. He was a huge guy. He was 6’3 1/2 and 220 pounds. That’s massive. He’s only considered average today because most heavyweights are extremely tall because they have no talent and their only advantages are reach and height.
