an ex-atmos main here, that came over from ss13, but most of my knowledge should carry over for sabotage related work (i want my rapid pipe dispenser before coming back to this line of work) all you needed for that little plasma trick to work was another pump on the output pipe, with that the pressure would suck the air out since you had a passive vent (unless there is another factor that im not aware of). but, i would heavily recommend scrubbers, i don't think they have a pressure limit (pressure limits are a ss14 thing) and you can scrub just the good stuff that ya want, like plasma trit and oxy. believe me, water vapor absolutely FUCKS your burning (although people will still die from just the heat, as once i found out by the entirety of sci dying 5 minutes into a shift and turned to ashes due to plasma sheets) a tip for atmos trickery is to just find out at what temperatures plasma starts to burn on its own, and heat it up alongside oxygen to a level equal or higher than that. the more heat a gas have, the less moles you can push in due to pressure, and you like moles, moles are what gives the burn that nice, amazing, toasty feeling ;3 but, i most tell you that this will very likely not set the whole station on fire on its own, you need to sabotage the individual air alarms first so that they will let aalll that plasma out more quickly (this is why you usually only see plasma floods with malf AI, since they are the only ones who can easily do that en masse) with all of that, you just opening the chamber is very, very likely the BEST result you could have gotten out of your setup, and it was fucking perfect, the only thing that could have gone better is you not losing your e-pen but that didn't matter thankfully nicely done, the syndicate congratulates your efforts agent, keep working like that and you will surely move up the ranks

Yea for the most part everything works the same. There are some differences here and there, and not every little thing is implemented but the basics are all there. I have more experience with Medical and Science than I do with Engineering but I still know enough to get myself into trouble as the saying goes.

11:58 Make sure you set your footage's resize filter/interpolation to "nearest neighbor" or "none" in your editing software, so when you zoom in far like this the image stays crisp and doesn't look compressed. I was watching at 1440p quality and it still looked super compressed despite the UI elements you edited remaining crisp, although the side effect of this is text looking slightly blocky 26:51 also, the medkit is only a 2x2 in your inventory so you should take the whole kit instead

Normally I find it hard to coordinate syndicate agent cooperation without the Syndie channel. Fortunately we got the implant for that now. Cause let's face it most syndies are trying to do syndie job and their normal job and that drags them all about. As for pumping air, normal pump caps at 4500 kpa, volume pump caps at 9000kpa, if the pipe you're pumping into is too high pressure then no pumping happens. This is a common issue for teg setups. You either need to use volumetric pumps, lower distro pressure, or use a gas mixer to make your burn chamber distro mix happen.

I'm not the best at ATMOS but I think your pipes were already at 4500 KPA, and the gas pump outputs to max of 4500 KPA. So this might be why you couldn't get your gas to go into distro

This can be tricky! I think with such an open ended game, that topic might be deserving of a whole video! In the meantime, I recommend playing a way you just never seem to play (either like a different job or play style)

Next time just make the burn INSIDE the canister. then just hook up in the distro. And dont need to be 50%~50%... 3% plasma and 97% will get you +200000°C and 250000kpa
