Fun robust tip: you can use a saw on a double barrel shotgun to make it into a one handed sawed off shotgun, any shells inside the gun will be lost while cutting if left in the gun

I dunno how popular Space station 14 will be. Might be hard to move a lot of the older Space station 13 players on to it. I hope that either Space station 14 or Unity Station can replace the BYOND launcher at some point, but i imagine a lot of the older Space Station 13 fan base would disagree with me. I am mainly hoping for a newer version of SS13 to bring in more players and make the controls more accessible. Always found the BYOND launcher clunky for server browsing and other things. And the Servers all having different keyboard layouts is frustrating. I do not mind the differences between how some servers handle mining and other things. But i just wish SS13 had a more consistent basline code.

Yeah SS14 is a lot more streamlined in code and in the actual gameplay. I don’t think it’ll pull everyone over but I do think it will attract much more new people because of those features

@SpessEnthusiast I think that part of the charm in SS13 is that some servers have different sprites for some things and different ways of handling jobs. So I Don't want to remove that charm of the game but i would be nice if the keyboard layout and UI was the same for each server. Like one server i really like called "Paradise Station" handles mining by having the miners go to a lavaland planet to collect ores, but the UI for the end game report is terrible and half the end game report get posted in chat. One other server I been playing recently called "Goonstation" and it has a perfect end game UI with all the details of the round split into easy to read sections. But their miners use a machine called "The mining magnet" to bring in different chunks of ores and terrain to mine through.
