Now you need to test the WFO 5.1D before I buy it. I already have the WFO 2.1D and it's an animal! I have it on 1 Fi Audio Q 18" in a 5.3ft³ box in my FR-S and it's insane. It's screaming for more power and I'm screaming for 1 more 18" sub and that WFO 5.1D.

That must be an early, or pre-production. My 3.1d has the red plate on the top, and a clip indicator on the amp. It also came with a remote with the clip indicator. Just in case anyone was curious.

The taramps amp I have has insane power and the cost per watt seems to be the best price on the market. I have the hd5000 and the md8000 and they have massive power. They are safe in regards to damaging the amp, both go into protect if I distort too much.. The main thing about the taramps that I don't like is the fan noise, but for me having a fan is good. I slam bass on the way to work and home from work everyday and I have had no trouble with the hour of basically max volume that I run them at. 👍

@@mikeraskin7319 I'm getting rid of my Skar RP-2000.1D & getting a Taramps smart3 or MD5k to run on a single 18" subwoofer. That Chinese Skar is too sensitive, it gets HOT way too easy/fast. (Within 20 mins & that's being real generous) I only got it because all the great reviews but those people must never turn their volume knob up. So I'm gonna see what all the rave is about with Taramps until I can spend a grand on a great sounding reliable amp without stressing the fact that I forked out so much cash. I'll probably get a synergy amp but the next one up from the one in this video. I've seen so many great builds with synergy amps.

I do have a comment though about CT sounds I accidentally ordered a pre-order item and I keep getting a story about why it's taking so long it's been a hundred days, which is totally not worth to me only to save like $30 , but they don't refund, but they will allow you to cancel the preorder and purchase something else they sell. Most cars dont run at 16 volts. Play it back starting at 14.4v an see if it does same ratings. Would like to see the difference

All cars have alternators..., a test bench doesnt... on a test bench you have to start higher to end at 14.4... a drain down to 14.4 is no different than a constant 14.4

Clicked on video and paused it. The thumbnail shows an open amplifier and, if I had not read the title, I would say that is a Crescendo BC 3500.1 D. It has the exact same Korean board as the DC 3500 as well. They are amaizing amps and I am looking forward to see how this one performs.

I'm guessing now they are rated so low compared to the dyno results so that when you are running it at the box rating the amp is running less stressed. It would definitely extend the life of the components. And you actually get what you pay for.

Hello, I know this video is a bit old but I have an EFA3K synergy audio amplifier that is throwing a protection light. I have checked power/remote/ground and I’ll have come up fine, I am wondering if there are any onboard fuses in the guts of the amplifier or am I just screwed? Clearly there are no onboard fuses outside of the amplifier is there anything else I can check?

I’ve used a lot of 4 Chanel amps in my life and most to my memory have a few external fuses but this is my only mono amp so I was sort of assuming im the big dummy and there is no fuse at all. Why does he rate them as such? Because with ohm rise, 1ohm ends up being about 2ohms so you get your rates as stated in car. Not scientifically like a lot of them where in car results are half of Dyno results

There is a problem with such hugely underrated amplifiers. It is more challenging to plan out the cabling and other electrical reinforcement to support that kind of power. You build your cabling system to support a target output...and when the gear can put out more power than expected one can run in to problems. It is better if amplifier vendors just rate the amps accurately and price them fairly.

99% of people doing a 2k+ set up go overboard w/ giant wire and extra batts. I really don't see this as an issue(like you've stated). If you're shelling out $699 on a solid amp, you're going to be spending double on wire/batts/alt. Loose rule of thumb. That will triple on 10k+ amps.

Need HELP! I have two dual 12 sub MTX AUDIO subs 1200w RMS 400w Peak Power 800w. I need a good amp for 150-220$ price range that will get these things bumping. Please help me out and provide good amps that will give me a bang for my buck.

Probably rated them at 12V? Not close to 15v
