Advanced ritual art is older but with vanillas, no wonder they will do something similar even though they aren't the first one to do it. Magikey already did that but again with vanillas only and Demise and Ruins have something to be ritual summoned from Deck too but very forgettable. If they printed something like this with Nekroz or Dytron they would break the game again.

Yeah probably not, no real graveyard effects, only set up it has is you can fill the grave with reptiles for the fire looking ritual to summon from the graveyard

We could have finally got our first FIRE Ritual deck with these reptiles but Konami had to make yet another DARK Ritual deck. In the last 5 years we've had 8 Ritual decks introduced and only Libromancer wasn't just a DARK/LIGHT ritual deck. And half its Ritual monsters were still DARK/LIGHT.

@@ScionStorm1 I whole-heartedly agree! That was a missed opportunity! The theme being Reptile does enough to help other Reptile-supported themes. Who knows if Konami were scared of them being mixed with nerfed Snake-Eyes and/or the recent Salamangreat support cards that support FIRE decks in general in which can bring them back into meta contention again. Poor Evol- having to stand on a crutch.

Don't. Mikanko operates on a whole other principle despite having a ritual monster, so adding these really wouldn't be better than adding the cyber angels, who at least have added synergy with ohime in comparison.

@@axell15thewispmaster79 no problem. always happy to help a fellow mikanko player avoid pitfalls. side note, if you're looking for a deck that can boost mikanko, i'd advise either the adventure package or the stun form. (not my favorite, as they don't match my playstyle, but they're still pretty strong builds). personally i run a more kaiju oriented build for going 2nd, with a side that allows me to switch into the dogmatika build for some surprise conversions.

This felt like the least inspired/cool TCG archetype we have gotten in a while. What's unique about this: Reptile Rituals and a ritual spell that can SS from deck or use tributes from deck. That's incredibly boring 🥱
