Random and off topic, but is there any reason why like 90% of the caves on fjorudr are not buildable in pve? Can't build in random caves that have nothing in them, like the cave under the double waterfall in vanaland, or the tree caves down in vaneheim but the entrances to the dragon boss fight cave all wyvern caves and the rock drake cave can be blocked and are currently blocked off. Didn't know if that was intended or not. Just kinds sucks that on pve a tribe can completely shut down access to rock drakes and wyverns

Taylor Frantz there's a setting you should turn off that prevents building in high resource areas that'll probably help because I haven't had any problem building in caves

Caverns of time is a very beautiful place on the map. Yes the new update broke the light pet spawn unfortunately. All rocks are metal node. Very good place to use your fjourd hawk to farm. Bring a Monmouth down and get sap and z seeds like crazy. Bring a therizinosaur and get lots of rare flowers and fiber. You can farm most of the resources needed here. So glad you found Harrison fjourd lol they are pretty sneaky little birds. I put mine on follow to keep it close by just incase. Love your content bud keep it up!

Actually, creatures do spawn in the caverns of time, but it's only the four light pets.

I love how they even had the male and females have distinctively different ceres for the Fjordhawks. Many real-world birds have it where the males get a blue or more vibrant cere and the females get a tan, brown, or lighter-colored cere. Just thought that was cool.

Btw syntac, you can get plant species z seed from the sap flowers although the chances are super low. You can also get crazy amount of metal from the stone pillars. It's my go to place for metal farm.

In that main room, it looks like a bottomless pit at the bottom of the waterfalls, but you can walk on it! I saw a little shinehorn down there walking around so I went for it. If it's a bug, hopefully it gets fixed soon, cuz having those little dudes in there really gave some life to the area. It's such a gorgeous place 😍

From there, head to these coordinates: 29:56 - 08:19. This will bring you near a huge skeleton there. From the skeleton's head turn right, and you'll soon spot a cave. Enter this cave and this is where you'll find Lightning Wyverns in Ark Fjordur.

When Fjordur was a mod map the caverns of time were the best place to find all 4 glowpets. Really glad they swapped the gravity from the gen1 lunar biome gravity to the gen2 space biome gravity, fits the area so well and makes the area less scary. That non-glowing jellyfish was just visiting from Australia...

He was probably under the map because of the water (that happened to me aswell) but as a flyer he was ofcourse able to fly back to surface. I guess he flew so far aways from your bed because yk the "landing" weird programmed.

The caverns are supposed to be full of light pets, but I don't think they spawn in until you load the caves once, the first time I was down there it was also empty but ever since its been full of the light pets

There were light pets in the caverns, they were the only thing in there, but after an update they disappeared. But is an amazing spot to mine rocks/metal and harvest wood peacefully. Also Syntac the pulsating plants also have a chance to drop Z seeds.

I never noticed the hawks blinking in Ark till today but it's super weird that they chose to have them blink in a normal way of the eyelid closing and not in the way that birds actually blink with their 3rd eye going over. Now it makes me wonder how the other birds like Argies blink in Ark.

Just after the map was released there used to be light pets spawn in that caverns but after the one update I have not seen them spawn in there anymore. I still love the cave though, it's really cool looking

Omg the Fjordhawks are so buggy at times. Something I've had several times now: When u throw them off your shoulder, they normally "slide" over the ground a few meters like any shoulder pet. But I've had it that flying was triggered, and they started flying in that direction low to the ground. Almost untargetable. I found them like 200 meters away, half the map away, or they just glitchy disappeared completely.

Good to see you have Harrison back. The nova clone is my personal favourite. I also think that gportal have broken this map for you all. All the light pets are meant to spawn in the caverns of time yet neither yourself or any other streamer I have watched have anything spawning in there. Bit odd really cos I thought nitrado were meant to be garbage!

Install the Awesome Teleporters mod, and craft an edible Dino Tracker for every creature you have. That way you can call them back to you with the teleporter even when you're not riding them.

Hi Syntac, lil tip those pulsating plants you got sap from also give Plant Species Z Seed. Rare drop though took me about 20 min to get 10 seeds.

Its weird that there were no light pets in the cave, they are supposed to be. Also, the pulsing plant you loved very rarely gives you plant species seeds to tame the light pets!

All 6 zones show. Zone 3 is bits under the wing that can only be seen while it’s flying. It’s super small bits. But all 6 show.

There are light pet spawns in the Caverns, no idea why they didn't pop up in there. And it's only light pets, super easy to get near max levels in there due to the oversaturation of spawns

I'm curious if you could place a leash around your bed, set the settings or whatever, and see if keeping the hawk in the leashed area would change anything for when you die. Idk how to explain this better but basically leash the area around your bed and hope that it will keep your hawk from flying 20 miles away from your bed

Fun fact: if you pickup a pet while in the caverns of time, leave, then throw the pet off, it will float as if it was still in the caverns! (Idk if it still works cause i haven’t tested it recently)
