U can put the blood oil in an exterior growbedand get blood vines and once they grow up they will generate infinite blood oil at ur base

@Syntac I would reccomend to put the bigger storage stacked against eachother so the shorter side it towards you, that way you can get much more storage in a smaller space because you dont have to place with the wider part against the wall.

I'm really suggesting you to plant some stuff that you can't get around your base (like blood oil, white mushrooms, gel sack etc.) because Exterior Growbed is cheap to build and it's really practical. Also you can track crafting items by right clicking them

Yeah, he can also plant acidic mushrooms which are a more efficient fuel for bioreactor

syntac: "im gonna use the bottom one [room] to have some reinforcements" also syntac: *has only 2 reinforcements but puts them only on the moonpool* and here are some helpful tips: 1. there's more useful upgrades for both seamoth and prawn in the console (the first category) such as the storage upgrades (i personally always used the defense electric thingy, a depth upgrade and 2 storage upgrades) 2. you can make more upgrades, bring them around with you in the storages and swap them whenever you need them 3. you can hatch creature eggs in the alien containment units (especially the bigger eggs), then let them breed, pick up the creatures and put them into the bioreactor (it worked pretty well for me) 4. and remember to build the battery chargers!!!

if you make the outside crop plot and the inside crop plot you have items that you can plant and not have to go out all the time to grab more of the items. the blue tree seeds have a better use for water than the fish do. same with the lantern fruit and the watermelons. Have a great day!

There’s no need to turn off the lights around Reapers. While some creatures (like Crabsquids and Bonesharks) are attracted to light, the Reaper is blind, and navigates by echolocation. If you can hear it, the Reaper can see you.

If you build outside grow beds than you can grow stuff like blood oil (which is the best kind of fuel for the bioreactor) creepvine clusters, deep shroom, acid mushroom, gel sacks,ect. Just a tip that I think would help you a lot. Love the vids man 🎉🎉 And also imm adding to this you need to slice the gel sacks and mushrooms to get seeds to replant them.

I suggest you go to the island with the gun or the floating island, harvest some bulbo tree seeds, then plant them inside your base. It’s free organic material to put in your bioreactors, and I think you have like 7-8 seeds you can grab from one tree before you have to plant another seed, and even then you can just use one of the seeds you get from it to plant back in and get another 7-8 seeds 👍

Watching this prompted me to go back and try to actually finish the game. This time through I'm using a VR headset as a monitor replacement (still sitting at my desk with keyboard and mouse) and it makes it WAY more immersive. Having leviathans sneak up on you with a VR headset on feels like a different game.

Syntac use the scanner room, it’s really underrated and it will help you find materials much faster and easier. Don’t forget to use the scanner room upgrades like the chip, so you can see where the materials are.

If you didn't know the fish called oculus in the pink shroomcave gives like 600 energy each in the bioreactor. They only take upp one spot så they are the best thing to use. Hope this help man. PS love this series man kepp it up ❤

Crazy fact to scare you more syntac is if you can hear the reaper it cab see you due to its echolocation this is an actual mechanic but its agro range stops it from being as dangerous as it seems 😂

Right under your base is the blood kelp trench, which is also an entrance to the lost river. I always build around where you built because of that

Tip when you open your pda in the top you will see tabs if you go to the tab with the wrench you will see craftable stuff and you can pin them to see what you need

Acid mushrooms are plentiful and easy to just collect or grow in a growbed and they give a bunch of power from the bioreactor (one of the highest energy/item)

If you built the cyclops then you can keep the seamoth at base and put the prawn suit in the cyclops then use the cyclops storage space for raw Materials that You gathered on the prawn suit. Just make decoys In case of reapers
