Right because what she was saying didn't make sense. They were both running for their lives and we saw him being hunted to the river. Unless he had Grog's strength, there was no way he could have ran with his sister's body on his back. I also like that none of the crew added it all together. Sylas charmed Uriel + Cassandra being in his "care" = ?

Fun facts about the original campaign: 1. Scanlan used a spell called Vicious Mockery to shame one of Percy’s undead ancestors to death 2. The group tried several methods to determine if Cassandra was charmed, so they fully believed she had betrayed them of her own free will 3. Vax (unknowingly) pressed the acid trap button willingly, before the Briarwoods had a chance to charm him.

Vax actually has 3 daggers. One dagger gets critical hits on a 19, another is a dagger of venom, and the last is a flametongue weapon. As a D&D player you'll get those references.

@@Syntell Nope. So the way it worked is he had a 'blink belt' which allowed his daggers to return to the belt after he threw them. He also had boots that allowed him to use the 'haste' spell on himself. The way they were doing it was he would throw a dagger as his action, throw another as his hasted action and as a dual-wielder he would throw his third as a bonus action. This became a catch phrase for the player and he would say for his attack 'Dagger, dagger, dagger'. There is an easter egg to that effect when in Gilmore's shop and they are searching for supplies, you see Vax looking at laid out display of items and he says 'Dagger.. dagger.. dagger.. stake!'

@@cloudstone123 Matt was pretty loose with the Rules, there was no "Blink Belt", even if there was he already had a magic Belt (Simon) and you can't wear two Magic Belts.

​@@lokithecat7225 Using your own logic, being loose with the rules would allow him to have 2 belts which I wouldn't have a problem with anyway. And he did indeed have a belt like that. That is how the daggers always returned to him so he could throw them again in later rounds. It was an item brought over from pathfinder like the belt that would create Simon which he had from the beginning of the stream, just like his boots of haste which don't work the same way in 5E. Watch the series again if you don't believe me. Liam mentioned it several times that is how the daggers returned to him. Even critrolestats lists it on the sheets they make.

Dr Ripley didn’t know how to solve the acid puzzle at first. She said a little before that the residuum refinement process was Professor Anders’ project, not hers. A few more fun facts: Residuum is the refined version of the mineral whitestone. The mineral whitestone is super rare, and is only found in the mountains around the city Whitestone. Residuum amplifies any magical effect it comes into contact with. Its why Delilah could raise a whole horde of undead with only one blood sacrifice, and why her magic is so overpowered in general. She’s wearing a residuum necklace! Did you notice what was in Dr Ripley’s bag? She’s trying to make her own guns, fashioned from eye witness reports of Percy’s pepperbox. Remember that Percy is currently the only person in the world who knows how to make guns. How dangerous would it be if that secret got out, especially into the hands of people like Ripley?

@@lokithecat7225 Well it wasn't a lie, we know Anders was the one interested in the mass production of residuum because we saw a flashback of him talking about it in episode 7. She said it herself: she's an engineer. She doesn't care that residuum amplifies magic, she cares about science. She had a prototype gun in her bag. She tries to get Percy to talk about how he made the pepperbox. She's not subtle about where her interests lie.

It was even set up in the flashback that Anders knew how and wanted to triple production of residuum. That processing facility were the fruits of his betrayal. Ripley is most definitely withholding information, just not when it comes to her survival in the moment.

Multiple responses... So the "Engineer" can't design a mechanical system that moves and drains Acid (non Magically), because someone else is the expert in Magic Rocks? I would think it makes more sense for the "Engineer" to build that, when the "Magic Rock" specialist says "I need dump it in Acid at this rate" or whatever Anders needs. Maybe Ripley shouldn't understand "What happens when you Dump the Acid onto Magic Rocks..." but she is the most likely person to build the Machine (Gears, Switches....) that Dumps the Acid.

So I'm pretty sure that half of the entire budget went into these last three episodes because they're AMAZING!!! The acid trap was another moment that was different in the original stream but I'm absolutely not mad at it because that was SO FREAKING HYPE. Also, Syntell said "Spot Check", you can tell how long it's been since he played DnD. Lol that's not me throwing shade, just being like "I see you, bro!"

Lol something i noticed, after the acid swim, and grog gets healed, pike begins saying “buddies” to grog. I believe she says it for grogs comfort, sanity maybe? But because grog would probably “believe” capt winkie is another “being”, and pike is saying “you both are healed”. As much as its an interesting situation, I appreciate that she’d say that to him and his way of thinking because they’re best friends

For solving where the third switch was: Percy did the math. The circuits had to be directly connected so there’s a strict limit to how far away that third switch can be, and it had to be connected to *both* the other switches. So, most likely looking at a basic triangle: two switches on the top two corners, one at the bottom, right between the two. Triangulation in a nutshell!
