@12:51 Funny you mentioned that. I was trying to find ways to mimic the granular washed sound of the microcosm. I found that the reverse (green mode) is a bit too bright and shimmery but if I turn thing 1 at noon and thing 2 all the way up (to the right) and the tone control all the way down, it gives me the smooth warm harmonic shimmer droplets that I'm looking for in guitar. Looking forward to pair this with the stutter granular mode tomorrow for some added randomness. It's nice to see this pedal being played with synths! Thanks for the video.

Awesome stuff here Liam! I like how you switched the individual outs with it. I like this pedal so much, I bought two of them for my dual TR8s setup (cheap and second hand from Japan). Do check out the looper update. I'm going to try it today!

Maybe I misunderstand your setup, but the H5 can take a stereo line in plugged into trs mini jack on the side of the x/y mic module, plus the 2 combo jacks on the bottom, that gets you vocal on its own track + a stereo feed from a mixer or any synth. I use a tascam mixer with individual track recording, hit me up and we can give it more detail ✌️✌️✌️

These days delay is my most-used effect. However, it's hard to like this pedal without a midi connection for synch and modulation purposes.

Yeah it’s a plus for sure

wondering what this sounds like through something digital sounding. I have an rs7000 hoping to get it more lush and analog where it's usually quite thin. have you tried it with a Casio keyboard for example?
@LiamKillen2 жыл бұрын
I do have the casio sk1 maybe that would be a good combo

@@LiamKillen I'd just like to know if you could get a nice pad sound. Try it!

Great video as always you make it fun. Hey completely different pedals with the microcosm, but which one would you reach the most for jamming and actual useful results to record. I am on the fence about buying one of those two.

Haha I literally just answered this same question over on TikTok. You win with either of them really. To me the microcosm is a bit less tameable but also somehow more organic. Either way though…you’re good.

@@LiamKillen I need to get onto TikTok then, love your content. Thanks for the advice.
