Honestly thought that the heads would have been 3D printed. Very interesting

At this point there are several reasons why we use eva foam instead of printing with a 3d printer, almost all synth heads look different, to attach the visor we need the flexibility of the eva foam since these visors bent by hand, there are slight differences in the shape of them. 3d printing will end up in a hard material, and as far I understand the species, thiers skin should be soft and squishy.
