Yes I always recommend doing a couple draining fills with distilled water. Just depends on how thorough you want to be I always use the low toxicity biodegradable coolant on my vehicles. Never mind flushing or draining all the coolant just leave half of it all in the heater and other hidden places, geez dude I would never let this guy touch my truck. Note the 6.0 is iron not aluminum.

Oh yeah I agree always good to do a couple draining fills to get it the most of the old fluids out we did that off camera. I would say 88% of the old fluid was changed out as would be my guess somewhere in that neighborhood and if you want to be even more diligent about it you can do it again and again to where you only have a couple percent left just depends on how picky you are with your vehicle. That’s why I do mine myself, dealers never doing it completely with half the old coolant stuck in the heater and other hidden places, Ford Gold is the recommended.

You can do it by yourself. I suppose you need a vacuum and then you'll need the adapter to hook up to the valve that goes and pulls the coolant in
